Hello all

I will be visiting the area on 29th Dec and I would like to "tick off" the KP stadium. I'd obviously like to witness part of an actual match (Man city (h)).

I don't think buying a ticket is likely to be an option for me, as I'm not a member etc, and I won't be arriving until close to the end of the match so I was thinking of chancing my arm at getting in.

Do physical tickets still exist? Will someone leaving early be able to give me their ticket to "re-access" the ground with?

Failing that, how likely is it a nice steward let me in for 2 mins at the end of the match without a ticket?

Thanks in advance

Not sure how they manage the doors at the end but glad said above loads of people leave early so maybe hanging around with 15 mins to go you can dash in as a few come out. I wouldn’t depend on any steward allowing you in. They would probably get sacked if caught

Thanks for the responses guys - that's very useful. I think I may as well give it a go.

As I'll only be in the area for half an hour or so, will I get away with parking at B&M / Odeon / Morrisons?
I'm guessing these places put matchday restrictions on to prevent people parking for 2+ hours to go to the KP, but 30 mins might be ok?

If you're arriving close to the end of the match you shouldn't have a problem finding a seat.

Sneak in when the gates are re-opened, used to be easy when I was a nipper.

That's what I'm thinking. Thoughts on nearby parking?

I tend to agree.  The club want to know every season ticket holders and members name, address age etc.  They aren't going to let some herbert just waltz in off the street without paying

Think the way to do it is wander around outside and when we score the winner in the 80th minute just come rushing in with all the early leavers when they want to see what's happened. 😄👍

I sometimes go to the toilet a few minutes before the end of the game (journey home can take a while!), and at that point the doors are all open, lots of people are leaving, and the concourse is pretty busy.  It would be easy to sneak in then.

I arrived for the West Ham game about 10 minutes before half time (delayed flight) - they were closing the turnstiles and hurried me in. Not sure how they could have denied me entry even later than that, though, given I have a valid ST, but would have been an argument with the stewards …

Does anyone know what happens in this scenario?

I put my season tix on the resale platform

They don't get sold

Am I still able to use them via my physical season ticket? Or once I put them on resale no way I can use them.

Thanks

So long as they've not been sold, I believe you can just go onto the website and "untick" the resale boxes.   And the ticket is back yours, so as to speak.
