TrickyTrev Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 3 why have we not been back there since? It's really quite expensive you know. Dubbaya is currently funding NASA to undertake a manned mission to Mars, that WILL happen in our lifetime.
toonboy Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 There were numerous moon landings weren't there? The way to find out would be to see if there are any landing vessel things on the moon. If there are then it was real. I think it is possible it was faked but probably was not.
cisono Posted 21 December 2005 Posted 21 December 2005 I reckon it was real, although some photos did look somewhat dodgy...
Bluefoxtim Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 There have been quite a few programs on this and all the theories were proven wrong...

Janx Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Oh pull your heads from out your rectums!! Of course it is true and I beleive they HAVE been back! Get over this conspiracy bollox and they dont go every week due to costs!

IDEA OR IKEA Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Just two points :- 1. The moon landings i believe were real, however, i think some (if not all) the photos were faked to use as propaganda (cold war and all). At the time it was as much about being the first there as it was a scientific mission and that would not have worked without photos. 2. Why go back - we have been there and the public funding will not be made available to do it again! Mars next!

Janx Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 Ha your argument should go to the moon, 1/3 of the weight Oh yeah you're right you got me...you win Why do people ALWAYS believe that things have to be fake, you are probably the same people who read tabloids and beleive every story. <_<

There was also experiments undertaken which have lead to technology like GPRS undertaken!

IDEA OR IKEA Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 From the moon?? or from space? 2 different subjects. From both:- The moon, the moon, so silver and cold, Her fickle temper has oft been told, Now shade--now bright and sunny-- But of all the lunar things that change, The one that shows most fickle and strange, And takes the most eccentric range, Is the moon--so called--of honey! Jordan Posted 22 December 2005 Posted 22 December 2005 3 why have we not been back there since? My biggest doubt about the whole exercise. Project Apollo missions 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 all landed on the moon before the project was terminated in 1972. After 17, the remaining missions were cancelled. Apollo 11 conspiracy theories are inane.

wirralsimon Posted 23 December 2005 Posted 23 December 2005 Everyone loves a conspiracy Theory but this ones Bollox. If it was a fake, there must have been literally hundreds if not thousands of people in on it. (What were all those people handling live coverage, going up in rockets that actually took off, working in mission control etc actually doing all that time?) In an age where claiming that you slept with David Beckham can earn you hundreds of thousands, isn't it striking that not one of these people has come forward to earn a mint by lifting the lid on it all? The whole hoax theory was started by a couple of journalists looking at the official photos and making the rest up as they went along. Many of the scientific arguments that it was fake are bollox too. The much quoted flag photos actually have an astronaut holding the flag on them! And they did go back several times. The only slight grain of truth in any of it is that some of the photos seem to have been tarted up (e.g. cropped to centre images) by the NASA press office prior to issing in a 'press pack' of photos and it is this press pack that forms the entire basis for the idea the moon landings were fake. Gamesmaster Posted 23 December 2005 Posted 23 December 2005 Discuss. wheres the stars in the background to video footage? think humans have been there since tho.
Jordan Posted 23 December 2005 Posted 23 December 2005 wheres the stars in the background to video footage? think humans have been there since tho. Gamesmaster, I've got a challenge for you: Find a photo taken in outer space where there are stars visible in the background.
macky Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 the photos that were released to the public were, undoubtably, doctored. however, there is just one killer argument that proves that the yanks went to the moon. Have you ever seen a science fiction movie from the late 60s, early 70s, ****it, the 80s, that has been in any way believable effects wise?? have you bollox! If the NASA scientists were able to produce footage like that, doctored or not, at that time they'd all be working in Hollywood by now.
Collymore Posted 29 December 2005 Posted 29 December 2005 There is little evidence to suggest it was fake, although this photo may prove otherwise...there is no shadow with the flag and that T-Shirt was brought out a couple of years after this should have took place
Sigma Posted 29 December 2005 Posted 29 December 2005 There was an American program about this a few years back. It was an interesting program, but it was set up like a tabloid tv show so its crediblity was suspect in my opinion.
