Its a fair point.  Buying just for the point and selling on takes the p*ss morally.  But its a double edge sword really for us members.  We dont usually get a sniff of tickets at popular aways (when we aren't in abysmal form) so the only way we get to go is if we buy one from ST holders selling them on.  Digital will stop all that in any case, rightly or wrongly

I agree,  and as I ST holder with over 270 points I have a used used friends STs to get tickets for friends who are memebers only,  never the less it should not be so easy to do.

When are they sending these e-tickets? Doesn’t anyone know? I’m not asking for this game, but curious how it might impact on my pursuit of tickets in the future if they don’t go to all STH.

4th April.

I was going to go Brighton, but can't be arsed to download and setup a Google Pay account just to go a bloomin crappy football match.  So **** it.   I'll save myself the money and hassle.

(yeah, I know at some point I'll have to "go mobile" if I want to continue going matches ... but not just yet!)

Annoyingly we bought 3 tickets in the corner at 8am today, and now they’re opening blocks directly behind the goal.  What’s that all about?

I wouldn’t worry.  It’s only becoming mandatory in the premier league in a couple of years, and being realistic I doubt that’ll affect us!

As @Globalfox implied earlier, lots of Football League clubs are into Mobile tickets, and I think Championship clubs will be jumping on the bandwagon.

I don't think one relegation is going to save us from this overkill.   Relegation to the 3rd or 4th Divisions, on the other hand ........................

I assume in case there was a lack of interest and they’d return some of the allocation. I got one in the corner this morning - still questioning my sanity buying for this and Man City! Will be a reasonable view wherever at the AMEX. View from my seat will give you an idea of the block you’ve booked 👍

It’s a shame.  My younger son collects tickets from away games and he’s disappointed.

Saying sold out assume more blocks to open?

Correct, 2 more blocks, which baffles why they put members on sale at 5pm, with only around 25 tickets left in remaining blocks, which went instantly, and yet won't open up any more blocks automatically. 5pm on sale when they go home for the weekend.

Keep checking back waiting for more to be on sale

Oh I know more will be on sale, but the only reason we've waited is to get my son who is a member a ticket with us three who have higher priority. We need to get him ones closer to the front or an aisle so he can see, and it's just to inconvenient that when they know a block will sell out and another needs to be open that they can't schedule it, or put it at a time someone will be working. It's not exactly rocket science.

I got two behind the goal , weren't many left in that block when I got them.

There's a whole block left in S1E behind the goal, just waiting on the club to open it.

They are beyond incompetent lol You watch them send them back.

Don't even joke - it's very possible. It's just beyond frustrating. Why no automation? Why not have someone look at it at 16:59 and think, oh someone will need to open that in 5 minutes. Oh well not my job - hello weekend.
