Voted Rudkin as I only started supporting the club shortly after Pierpoint was around.

Pierpoint didn't really do a lot wrong and his only impact on the team was to generate funds for transfers which he was seemingly quite good at. FNF was also his idea. 

 

His biggest problems seems to have been not getting on with other more influential people.

Rudkin is incompetent. 

 

Pierpoint was never incompetent. He had a lot of faults but could do his job.

Pierpoint's main downfall was falling out with Martin O'Neill. MON was a godlike figure and as soon as it became clear he had an issue with him the fans made it impossible for Pierpoint to stay
