You can have 3 without I’m pretty sure

Excuse my ignorance but isn’t a work permit a country requirement and nothing to do with football?

Yeah so foreign players need a work permit to play over here

You get one based on international appearances / strength of the league you play in

He wouldn't get one, however you get a few ESC places which can be given to someone like him who wouldn't get a work permit

Any idea who we’ve used esc places on in the past?

27 years old playing in the Singapore Premier League.  No caps for Japan not even youth ones.

I'm excited.

Probably still better than Mr Sitter!

The kind of player we should be throwing over to Leuven to test the water....if we dared to use a multi club model properly that is

The only reason it doesn't work is that Rudkin keeps calling his own mobile phone number and can't figure out why the DoF at Leuven is always engaged.

Okay Foxes friends. I have an update: Doi has NOT yet gone on trial with Leicester. He has been at a German Bundesliga Club (Hoffenheim) for a few training sessions and returned to Singapore to continue the season. He (and agent) are pushing for a move to England though (no interest in coming to Brøndby now and we have been informed we are fully out of the race :() Leicester are the only English club who have shown serious interest.

will update if I learn more, but now Brøndby are out of the race, I fear my “insider information” has now dried away.
