It's only when you watch the videos of how they do tifos, do you get the slightest inkling of how much time and effort is involved in doing them.  Incredible.

Whilst there are City fans prepared to put that much effort in, there's life in the old dog.  (even though at the moment we're on a bit of a massive downer)

Total respect to you younger guys doing this.

Pretty gutted we won’t get chance to give Vardy one more from the supporters.

Given what was produced against Blackburn on the final day last season, this is very disappointing from the club. Crowd displays of this magnitude and level of importance are best left to the fans themselves, and I'm partly dreading already it will instead be something generic and unimaginative.

Are the club doing it?

I can't remember the last time they did one themselves. Any good?

We believe so.

Im aware it's not going to be a popular stance but its so soulless when a chap in the design team sends off a PDF file to a printing firm and it all gets plonked on us by agency staff.

It’s going to be something cringe including the word “goat” isn’t it?

That's a massive shame, the club just doesn't hold an ounce of respect for the fans.

Would have been some great PR if they acknowledged that they intended to do something themselves, but instead have allowed UFS to put one on given the quality of TIFOs we've seen before.

I guess you boys aren't too popular with the decision makers atm though lol

It's also ironic that the Club are happy to use the photos of your tifos in their socials, and get the benefit/kudos from that, but not be as supportive!

Not sure why the club, won't let you do a tifo for Vardy, can the club come up with one better, and baring in mind, all the past tifos you have done.

Clubs should not be asking agencies to come in and do fan culture. It’s the total opposite of what its all about.
A fan thank you would have been truly special.

Is that tweet for or against the Sunderland tifo?

I couldn’t work that out either, I’m assuming that’s not the fans that have done it based on the last attempt that went viral from them

Against, its the latest special offer on sale. Arsenal, Sunderland and us all have bought them in this last few weeks.

Ordered extra clappers for this game and an off the shelf tifo.

I don't have any issues with tifos that are "bought" as such. So long as they show the message the fans want it to say and it's paid for by the fans.

They're expensive though. Cheaper to make it yourself.

Tifo is itself is fan culture. When it has anything to do in design, financing and making by the football club it is taken from the supporters.
It becomes a marketing teams project then.

Yeah I agree 100%.

But isn't that tweet talking about where tifos are printed?

The reason is there on the first image?

What about the flimsiest of reasons?
