Starc is dangerous. But he can't bowl for long. Just see him off.

I don’t understand why we haven’t tried this yet ! So logical.

He has 5 overs max, maybe 4 in each spell.

I know it sounds like the bleeding obvious, but if he's bowled it and it's not hitting the stumps just leave it. We really don't need to be scoring runs off him, but he does need to be taking wickets.  What worries me is that Lyon is a better spinner than Jacks (but then again, so is Root and he didn't get one over)..

It's pathetic. I might come and greet them when they drag their sorry arses back to England. I'll cheer Joff when he turns out at Sussex next year though.

It didn’t turn that much.
We aren’t even good at being flat track bullies anymore.

Yeah, it looked to me like Duckett was playing the wrong line anyway, and his bat came down at a funny angle and not straight which doesn't help.

We're so infuriating. The Aussies are a decent side, yeah, but we're making them look so much better and causing ourselves so many problems. You just know once we lose one wicket, we're liable to lose two or three in quick succession.

Had it on my Alexa in the background and could hear the Barmy Army going nonstop. Slowly woke up and thought it must be going well for us with all the singing.

But no. It’s just the Barmy Army being happy clappers again rather than giving the ECB and team a bit of stick

Baz, take your ball and **** off home

Said it before, we are England condition flat track bullies.

Understand batting is slightly harder these days BUT Averages in the mid 30’s for Crawley, Pope, Duckett only slightly more is the same as all rounder Stokes.

Bowling, we bowl high wide & handsome & as for Carse the no ball king vs a bowling side that aim for the stumps & corridor of uncertainty.

Not closing the deal against India should have told us everything we needed to know.

Do we have the players on the fringes for a rebuild, many of this lot are naive & lack Cricket intelligence.

Mcgrath might be right with his normal prediction.

There's load of lads playing well in county cricket that at least deserve a go
