First of all, I've gone from being a student who used to have all the time in the world (Simply because I couldn't be arsed to do any work) to full time work, which means I don't get much time to do anything any more, except for weekends. Also, I've become disillusioned with the football (being played by us) and the forum. I find myself reading threads and I simply can't be arsed to reply to some of the crap being posted. There are too many users who annoy the hell out of me, and don't contribute anything meaningful and interesting to any debate. Don't get me wrong, there are a core of excellent posters, who I always look out for ( [in no particular order] Cobbo, Katassi, Stez, Ultra, Babylon, Lisa, Chimp, Jason Hullcox, Teeno, Breadandcheese etc*) but too many posts and threads are polluted by some dire stuff posted on here. * There are others, but I can't remember.

I understand mate, personally I find the whole thing boring now, after spending the best part of 2/3 years on here everyday I've gradually lost interested in it. I've made freinds with a lot of people on here and hope to sty friends aswell, but there is nothing much to talk about anymore, people just end up repeating themselves and getting into petty arguments, it doesn't help having headmaster like mods either. since the demise of Talkingballs football messageboards just havn't been the same

Tomassi Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 this is the problem with internet forums.. they are amazing after they get going, a variety of topics and interests, but then people start to take it too seriously and the demise of forums occur. for example celebrating 1,000 posts for some people will be their major achievement for the year!?!
