As we’re promoting from within, this loyal guy is currently 3rd in charge at the moment, responsible for set pieces, defensive shape drills and half time motivational speaking. Also keeping cats and pigeons off the pitch.

I mean on the plus side if it is a permanent manager, it’s see this season through with an eye already on pre season and the next season.

Youre very optimistic that you think we will conclude a manager search before the end of the season

I thought exactly the same, Dominic Wells would go into a 5-10 minute tactical breakdown and he would just say its all about putting square pegs in square holes lol

You know what, I had the exact same moment in mind when I wrote that.

He went into some really good detail and a man who's been at our club over a decade just came up with some chew cannonballs for breakfast type speech. Was so Sunday league level.

Yeah his interim period was honking - but I don't think the bloke ever wanted to be a manager anyway. He comes from an analysis background.

He did also win the one game he had as interim between Puel and Brendan. Obviously that's overshadowed by the other two games.
