The People's Hero Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 There certainly has been some debate tonight. So as my bottle of red draws to a close, whatever your view on Levein's reign... Cheers all, and here's to three points tomorrow!
Libertine Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Indeed. There has been loads of posting in the LCFC forum tonight and it's been great to read most of it.

Bert Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 No tomorrow will be a debate of hoe great Levein is,but why can only perform well against the better teams in the league, after beating Reading 2-1
Libertine Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 No tomorrow will be a debate of hoe great Levein is,but why can only perform well against the better teams in the league, after beating Reading 2-1 Let's hope so... <_<
The People's Hero Posted 27 December 2005 Author Posted 27 December 2005 No tomorrow will be a debate of hoe great Levein is,but why can only perform well against the better teams in the league, after beating Reading 2-1 Well - here's hoping mate! That'd be a good debate to be having... Perhaps another Levein Out poll too?
Libertine Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Well - here's hoping mate! That'd be a good debate to be having... Perhaps another Levein Out poll too? There'll be one regardless of the result.
Bert Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Well - here's hoping mate! That'd be a good debate to be having... Perhaps another Levein Out poll too? Shall we start it now??
The People's Hero Posted 27 December 2005 Author Posted 27 December 2005 It'd be typical **** Leicester to go and beat Reading wouldn't it?
Libertine Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Definately would. I'd love it, but would still be well aware that we'd mess up against rubbish sides again in the future as to not get too ahead of myself.
Matt Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 It'd be typical **** Leicester to go and beat Reading wouldn't it? Yes, Because we proform against the bigger clubs...when its Crewe/Millwall/e.t.c., the players go into the game thinking "Ah its only [insert club] we can beat these" then the players realise we are below the certain team...
The People's Hero Posted 27 December 2005 Author Posted 27 December 2005 It's strange how it's happened through countless managers and playing staff. Must be something in the water.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Definately would. I'd love it, but would still be well aware that we'd mess up against rubbish sides again in the future as to not get too ahead of myself. thats the killer problem isn't it I guess.. when was the last time we strung two league wins together...? =/ Was it even under Levein...?
The People's Hero Posted 27 December 2005 Author Posted 27 December 2005 thats the killer problem isn't it I guess.. when was the last time we strung two league wins together...? =/ Was it even under Levein...? I don't think we've had consecutive league victories under Levein, no.
Mark Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 thats the killer problem isn't it I guess.. when was the last time we strung two league wins together...? =/ Was it even under Levein...? We've actually managed it once believe it or not! The last two home games of last season against Derby and Leeds.

Libertine Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 And two fantastic performances they were too. That's why I still slightly feel there is some potential under CL....slightly.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 We've actually managed it once believe it or not! The last two home games of last season against Derby and Leeds. christ almighty... the last two.. when the pressure was off..
Ultra Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 And two fantastic performances they were too. That's why I still slightly feel there is some potential under CL....slightly. But most of the players who did well for us in those games have now left! The players he's brought in have generally not been the same standard. That's why we have the problems that we do.
Suffolk_fox Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Levein is concerned at the fact we have got so few points against teams below us. The way we are going, that shouldn't be too much of a problem soon....
Chimp Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 [..] Perhaps another Levein Out poll too? Nope, they're only allowed when we've had a defeat remember? <_<
Chrysalis Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 if we beat reading it wont make me suddenly think hes a hero, it will be a freak result, to redeem himself he will need to take it further and then beat norwich and get something from the palace game.
