I'm struggling to see what he's achieved since joining Newport just under 4 months ago. Anyway, I wouldn't want him to tarnish his fine reputation by coming into this sh!tshow.

This is in no way me saying I want him as I don’t but he’s actually done a pretty solid job at Newport.

He’s only lost 3 out of 10 home games in charge and got them 2 points clear of the bottom 2. I think before he came in they hadn’t won at home in ages.

Just looked it up and the League 2 table since Fuchs came in has Newport in 19th. 8 clear of the bottom 2. So not bad going

I've followed city for a long time now .... looking at the players ...  body language... faces and some of the talk coming from within ... it seems like they are resigned to relegation and are just going through the motions and nothing more .... I really hope I am wrong ... but all the signs are there for all to see

This season is a by-product of having a squad made up of:

- loan players

- players with 12 months left on their contracts

- inexperienced youth players

- players who don’t want to be here

- those that do and aren’t good enough

something I hadn’t considered until now is how few of our players played a lot of football last season.

The vast majority were either injured, not available for selection or not in favour. Add that to a non-existent pre-season and we have a group of unfit players lacking sharpness. Whilst I appreciate they would have been training, that is no replacement for playing games and I think that’s been a massive part of our downfall.

And guess what?we'll  be saying the same thing this time next year .

Took a few days to digest Saturday's game and I think that capitulation against a side with nothing to play for and in rotten form marks a point of no return for this team. Previously I'd seen enough to say on the balance of probabilities we'd be ok, now tilted the other way.

The first time in our history we'll be below Lincoln in the pyramid, pretty sobering.

I think there is a massive problen with lack of trust within the squad and also a lack of wanting to take responsibility.

The defenders don't trust the keeper, the keeper doesn't trust those in front of him, it's as clear as day. And the amount of pointing the finger at each other on the pitch when mistakes are made is noticeable. Absolutely not a brotherhood (or insert any other word). The lack of cohesion in this squad will be our downfall. They are not playing for each other at all.

Right up until QPR equalised on Saturday I had this naivety, maybe an arrogance too, that although we have been poor we won't go down.

However, as soon as Harvey Vale put the ball in the net that all went. Watching how the players just deflated, everyone of them looking lost, and the manner and ease at which we conceded Ive given up all hope.

At times we (usually for no more than 20-30mins) we play like a team that has the highest wage bill in the league. But its always short-lived. In this league, probably even more so than the Premier League, you rely on something that we have absolute none of, and thats character, and a will to win.

These lot either couldn't care less, or just dont have a sack of balls between them to find a way to just do enough.. they just roll over week in week out, and the defensive errors we make is absolutely outrageous.

If it wasnt for the fact that dropping to league one would cripple us financially and probably pile on more deductions and punishments Id be begging for us to drop. Lose all the out of contract players and just try and start afresh. The best we can hope for is to stay up and most likely have many more years of this absolute dross and just doing enough to stay up.

I cant see it though. Bromley away next season, at least we'll see some real grounds i guess
