Does anyone know from experience what time the coaches are likely to set off for this game?  We’re hoping to get tickets and trying to work out the best travel options.

Ausden Clark are confirmed setting off at 6.35 from king power.. fox travel usually sets off first so early guesses would be 6am but timings should be released soon..

Can you park at the stadium if you’re using Austen Clark? Would rather go with them as they are leaving later but if I turn up in my car about 6:20 will they allow me to park.

Yes just say you are going Portsmouth, and they let you in, even after Fox Travel had gone, l have done it, get there 10 mimutes before they go

The coach with Fox Travel leaves at 05:15 am. That's 7 hours and 15 mins before kick-off! They request people get to the KP 30 mins before coach departure - so that's 4:45 am. Once the time to drive to the KP is factored in, my alarm would need to be set for 03: something!

 

I normally travel to games with Fox Travel when the distance is extreme but not this time. I'll drive, parking already booked on someone's drive 30 mins walk to Fratton Park and I'll miss the 60 minutes sitting in a service station on the way down.

Not sure on your circumstance but I'm staying over the Friday and Saturday nights, train down on Friday after work.

I considered that option. I did stay on the south coast when I attended that glorious, record-breaking Friday night in the rain in Southampton.

 

I might spend an hour or two after the game at the Mary Rose exhibition as I can get in for free on this occasion, before driving home.
