League Two - 2026/27

[spacemunky]

Just realized that there wasn't a topic for L2. Of course it's always lumped in with L1, but sadly....

Disappointed to see that Macaulay Langstaff has signed with Salford for this season.

Obviously didn't have the success in Championship like he did with us, but thought he might do better than that.

Of course, would have loved to have had Macca back at Notts.

York City part ways with Stuart Maynard just 8 days before they start in the league cup and a few weeks before the season starts.

People who run clubs operate in strange, strange ways!

We might play them in the league cup so probably wanted to act like us !!

Obviously some sort of falling out .

Wasn't well liked with us, but his record at York was outstanding.

I'm sure he will find a new home.

And then somebody hacks their account or has fun with it, claiming Martin Jol as the new manager.

Post then gets deleted again.

Would be hard to bet against Salford this season.

I would have Langstaff at the top scorer.

Chessie have been following us up and I think they'll do it this season.

I definitely don't know who all has done what, but Grimsby I'd expect will be in the mix too.

York fans certainly letting their board know how they feel about recent events !

Salford thumped by Barnet today. Hopefully this overexposed Northern Premier League club drift away again.

A consortium including former AC Milan, Chelsea and Brazil forward Alexandre Pato has had a "proposed shareholding aquisition" of Northampton Town approved by the Independent Football Regulator (IFR) and English Football League (EFL), the League Two club has said.
