haha due to Sherwood's cramp issue Ale is at CB, Payne has moved to LB, Mayling back to RB and Nystrom into midfield, Sherwood is now upfront

good win scoring goals, played some decent football and defended pretty well too.

 

now get a quality manager and we could be on for a very good season. Has the guy that took London City up got a job yet?

Good win, we absolutely dominated for the majority of the game.

Should have been a lot more comfortable than it was.

There's tougher teams in the league that will punish our lack of organisation more.

 

Tierney didn't exactly tear it up in the WSL, but in the WSL2, she will be a big miss, assuming that's season over for her.

 

We showed real dynamism and looked like we could score whenever we got the ball.

Nystrom living up to the hype someone gave her on here so far.

Looking forward to next weekends game.

he broke an internal rule not a law, he was punished, the player involved is no longer at the club, I want the best person possible to manage the team.

 

Kirk will not make that mistake again because if he did his career would be well and truly over, he is lightyears ahead of twatmoor and if a few snotty blog posts are all we have to worry about who cares

Saw the first half, looked good going forward but not so clever at the back. Sherwood is a good player, and she seemed to do ok at centre back in the first half. 
 

Tierney will be a big miss, looks ordinary in WSL1 but her experience shines through in this league.  Still not sure on Liv Clark, and Missy is just so weak mentally and physically, Lehmann really needs to take her place. 
 

Promising start, perhaps Hourihan and Jade Moore will replace Passmoor, he’s still not good enough in my eyes despite a decent start. Real test will be how the midfield copes without Tierney if it is long term.

I don’t think “he didn’t break the law” is really the bar we should be setting for the manager of a professional football team.

 

Those internal rules exist for a reason. A manager is in a position of authority over the players. Having a relationship with a player crosses a pretty obvious professional boundary, regardless of whether it was consensual or whether that player has since left.

 

I’m not questioning whether Kirk is a better coach than what we’ve had since. He probably is. But being good at your job doesn’t mean the club should overlook the reason you were dismissed from it.

 

There are plenty of good football managers out there. Surely the ambition should be to find one who can improve the team without bringing that baggage back with them?

2nd half was pretty much a continuation of the 1st, we nearly had a mens team moment and made lives extremely difficult for ourselves before getting the 4th.

 

I am torn with Missy, whilst she works hard, she just seems so afraid to try things and she also lacks pace to just push it ahead and run on to it like Dennis has. Lehmann and Pritchard looked like better options when they came on.

Shame really, she had such promise a couple pf years ago.

Bit more than snotty blog posts. 
 

It completely ripped through team morale at the time.
