It's not out of the question for a Championship club to get that sort of money. Leeds got far more for a right back ffs. 1

Aye one that had just won the Championship young player of the season and finished 3rd in the league not freshly promoted to the Championship.
VLC86 Posted 3 September Posted 3 September I’m not sure exactly how it all works with calculating squad value when you sell a club, but I’d imagine the club thought that Page would add more to the value of the squad than what they were willing to pay so KP use it to get more of their money back.

Another way to put it is that Archie Gray makes Spurs fans nostalgic for Oliver Skipp. He's rubbish and him starting regularly for Spurs has been a large reason why they've gone from top 6 to relegation candidates. At his age, I think in this day and age it’s genuinely somewhat realistic. i don’t think we have enough negotiation in us to pull that off and we will still be in a position of weakness but I could see the 10 mill doubling in that scenario

Possible, not likely.
