He should track back better yeah but you can forgive him for stopping imo because clearly Thomas should deal with it easily with either a back pass or even better, hoofing it into the crowd.

That’s what you or anyone with half a brain would do but we’re talking Thomas here who was outpaced despite having a yard start on the fella. 
All I can say is he must be good in training cos he’s bloody awful on the pitch.

Sorry but thats complete rubbish. Okoli was attacking in the opponents box (yeah - i know - Okoli) so we were 1CB short. Without tracking back its a 2 on 2 in a fast transition. Even if Thomas is elite level (which we know he isn't), all it takes is a favourable / lucky bounce and the fullback is out of the picture leaving it 2 on 1 with the keeper. Lundstram has to come back and defend there, and all he really needs to do is keep up with the striker and make life difficult for him. Its outright arrogance / lazyness.

They were letting Okoli have the ball without bothering to press him. I think the decided he wouldn't do anything useful and drawing him further forward gave them opportunities.

 

Its all so easy to decide how to pick us apart.

O'Hora was as much at fault as Thomas and Lundstrum for that second goal. Totally switches off, forget that the eventual scorer is over his left shoulder and then fails to clear it
