I think if we gave him a year or so, we could become a formidable team however, it is whether you would risk relegation, and the stuff that follows this, as a sacrifice. All fans want to be the best team around, so with most this wouldn't be an option. I think it's in the interests of the club that he leaves, however, in 2 years time, if Levein IS in control, i think we will have a very good team.. Hearts weren't exactly a pretty team to watch under CL but seeing as every year he was there he had no money to spend at all and had to reduce the wage bill by 30-40%, I think the fact his team qualified for Europe and performed well enough in most domestic competitions, it wasn't too bad a performance. His ability to field a competitive team in the face of the board decimating his squad each year is what kept the club alive until new investors were found. Still... none of that adds to the LCFC points tally... so he's in trouble alright. I just think that it's proven true that continuity is a big bonus.
