moseeds Posted 25 January 2006 Share Posted 25 January 2006 People are always looking to shed responsibility, for example: NATIONAL RAIL EXCUSES ------------------------------ There are leaves on the line, the rails are unsafe. It is too hot, the rails are unsafe. It is too cold, the rails are unsafe. There is a train blocking the way, please wait. There is currently no driver for your train, please wait. There are too many people on this train, please alight. Similarly: CRAIG LEVIEN EXCUSES ----------------------------- The players are thinking too much, that is why we lost. We are doing 90% of the things right, that is why we lost. The players are very young, that is why we lost. We do not have much experience, that is why we lost. The opposition scored a brilliant goal, that is why we lost. We peppered their goal, the ball wouldn't go in, that is why we lost. We have the highest statistics for hitting the post, that is why we lost. We have very bad luck, that is why we lost. Care to add anymore? To either? Leicfox Posted 25 January 2006 Share Posted 25 January 2006 The opposition boarded the goal up with wooden planks.
moseeds Posted 25 January 2006 Author Share Posted 25 January 2006 The opposition physically moved the proverbial goal posts, so we couldn't score, that is why we lost.

cisono Posted 25 January 2006 Share Posted 25 January 2006 Our goalkeeper did a great job last night, except on one occasion, that's why we lost We played well 99% of the time, except for 1 minute when the opposition happened to score (how unlucky) And they scored a golden goal, nothing we could have done there
moseeds Posted 25 January 2006 Author Share Posted 25 January 2006 The opposition didn't attack, they were happy to defend, that is why we lost. [burnley] We thought we could score and sit back, but we didn't, that is why we lost. [sheff wed]

Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2006 Share Posted 25 January 2006 We are sorry to annouce that the 17:14 service to London Eustone has been delayed by approximately 10 minutes. This is due to a Craig Levein being tied to the track.

We were lack luster, we didn't play well and we didn't create anything. We deserved to lose.

I kept leaving Sheehan on the bus, I knew we had someone else. I just couldn't concentrate on the match for reading the emails TD had passed to me I missed their goal cos I was checking train times to Edinburgh Every time we fouled one of their guys the ref kept giving a free-kick. How can you cope with that?. Until we start passing the ball we'll get nowhere and we won't be doing that for two or three years. We had stacks of chances. In training we often score from 60 yards. Football's no different whether it's played at Cowdenbeath or Leicester. Is that not proof?.
