I don't think he was, 'cos i remember Levein coming onto the pitch and punching the air with both of his fists clenched. Does anyone think Rob Kelly could be made permanent manger?? Maybe do a Stuart Pearce as in go from coach to manager.

Anish Posted 25 January 2006 Posted 25 January 2006 I hope he follows in the footsteps of Stuart Pearce and Billy Davies. I hope he does well because he's got an eye for a good player and it would be much cheaper for us to appoint him than somebody else. I'd give him the next 3 games to prove what he's capable of.

I thought the idea of an assistant manager was to bounce ideas off and ask for input from? In theory, some of the things that we've been doing in games will have been Rob's ideas, including team selection. Unless CL wasn't taking his ideas on board then I wouldn't be surprised if his team selections are pretty similar to Levein's.

That's a good point but ultimatley Craig would make the final decison, I'm sure Rob Kelly has his own ideas and who he wants to play etc, i mean he always eemed to be the one shouting stuff from the touchline in the past few games.
