The People's Hero Posted 29 January 2006 Posted 29 January 2006 Gateway often has decent atmosphere with mixture of home and away fans. Beer isn't cheap but is very well kept.. good, reasonably priced food available quickly too.

Scow Posted 29 January 2006 Posted 29 January 2006 The Dry Dock is decent. Plenty of TV's for the footy, cheap drinks (If you have a Yellow card) and only a 10 minute walk from the ground.

Don't know about the atmosphere..but the beer selection almost made me faint. Any place with that many beers from Belgium & Germany plus the excellent real ales would be worth a shot. It's the beer!!

It's the pub which is shaped like a boat. It's fairly small inside, but you can usually find somewhere to sit inside and there's rarely a queue for the bar. It's based near Homebase, just off Welford Road and near Leicester uni.

The only drawback with it yesterday is that it was packed with Tigers fans.
