Corky Posted 12 January 2009 Posted 12 January 2009 Anyone who doesn't watch this isn't worth knowing in my opinion. No-one cares what you think
lookwhaticando Posted 12 January 2009 Posted 12 January 2009 OH MY GOD - anyone seen the first half of the third episode yet???? Shocking!! Now are we talking series one, eight, seventeen, forty-nine or sixty-seven? They were all pretty shocking, to be fair.
JoeyB Posted 12 January 2009 Posted 12 January 2009 Just finished the first two episodes - the end of the second one is classic 24! Onto episode three! I thought that. OH MY GOD - anyone seen the first half of the third episode yet???? Shocking!! shut up I only watch it 'cos my Mrs insists. I just sit there saying 'aas if' every 7 or 8 minutes!P.S she has all the box-sets if anyone wants to buy em. Some of em are brand new, bin watched once. 50p for the lot?
syston_fox Posted 12 January 2009 Posted 12 January 2009 Now are we talking series one, eight, seventeen, forty-nine or sixty-seven? They were all pretty shocking, to be fair. Consider my cage rattled This is quite a refreshing series so far in that it's different to the last 6. Series 5 and 6 in particular felt like they were repeating the same stories again, but from the first 4 episodes, this one actually has a whole new feel about it - the lack of CTU and seeing old faces on different sides makes it far more intriguing as to what will happen next. Loving it so far!
syston_fox Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Series 7 is officially a contendor for best series yet now!
JoeyB Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Series 7 is officially a contendor for best series yet now! I know it is already, canne wait for Mondays episode.
Head Honcho Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I've bought the boxsets and they are well worth buying but you can watch it here for nowt. http://vids.tv/24/tv/season-7 I'm on the 6th episode of Season 7-not yet on dvd.

Think it was the 8th episode that Ive just seen so I won't spoil it for you but I think the series is much better without CTU as a focal point. I was very sceptical when I heard that it wasn't featuring in this season but its made it fresh and original once more.
LeeCovFox Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 http://tvshack.net/tv/ Episode 8 is another cracker.
Jay Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 This series of 24 is immense one hour episodes simply isn't enough!! always leaves you wanting more!! brilliant TV
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Worst president yet though. Her stupid dolphin smile is getting on my nerves. Threatened by terrorists - enigmatic smile A plane crashes - enigmatic smile Her husband is missing - enigmatic smile

Threatened by terrorists - enigmatic smile A plane crashes - enigmatic smile Her husband is missing - enigmatic smile I don't mind Taylor. I disliked Wayne Palmer more than the others and liked Noah Daniels because he was a miserable sod. The best has to be David Palmer, although Charles Logan was a cracking character.
Fox You Forest Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 I thought this was Multi Start, Has it been stopped?
BoneDog Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Just been forced to sit through 24 Redemption. What a pointless load a shite that was. I have never seen a more unrealistic series and film in my life. The whole lot of series' are so far from the truth it's unreal. I know it's only a tv programme but I like them to be at least half true to life.
syston_fox Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Dunno what the deal with that was but seems to have been two episodes shown in the US over the weekend so just seen episodes 11 and 12.... both brilliant. Anyone else up to date with the series so far or are you all sticking to Sky One?
potter3 Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Just started watching this, watched the first two episodes of series 1. Got a long way to catch up
Flynny Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 11 and 12 of Season 7 are pretty epic! The first half was decent but not amazing, this is better, much better.
syston_fox Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 11 and 12 of Season 7 are pretty epic! The first half was decent but not amazing, this is better, much better. The last 10 minutes of ep12 had me right on the edge of my seat. Do you know why they had two episodes this week?
Flynny Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 The last 10 minutes of ep12 had me right on the edge of my seat. Do you know why they had two episodes this week? I reckon because the first 'chapter' of the story ended and they had to kick-start this storyline. I also can't work out why there was no House because there were two episodes of 24 or visa versa, which is possible.

I kind of lost interest half way during the series where he was trying to hire a new team

I have never seen a more unrealistic series and film in my life. The whole lot of series' are so far from the truth it's unreal. I know it's only a tv programme but I like them to be at least half true to life. But that's half the fun! The stuff they "magically" do with computers is amazing and the technobabble that Chloe comes out with is brilliant! I would also argue that as far as "most unrealistic film" can I offer perhaps Lord of the Rings? Star Wars? Harry Potter?

I just get vexed when they make out in films that the secret services or whatever they are are heroes. Cos they aint
Fox You Forest Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 Oh my god. Bill  Arggh! I can't help but look when people post things like this.
syston_fox Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Oh my god. Bill  Yeah that was a massive shock for me! Didn't see it coming at all. The next episode is a corker though
