Any kind of attractive price about Bristol City has gone unfortunately due to the signing of David James. I don't know about play-off prices, but their odds for the championship outright were slashed purely because of James.

You only need one or two weekends to come up over a season to make a profit, even at very short odds.

Some weekends are better than others, depends upon the fixture list.

The first few games of the season are a bit tricky though.
