He would be missed if he was forced to leave imo eventhough I haven't even heard that he will be leaving!

I don't suspect he earns that much money, so if this true surely Birch would be leaving through his own choice. All he does is shout a load of stuff on the Mic on Saturday! It's not like we're losing our best player or anything. Times change people, he's been good but I couldn't really care less if goes. He can be rather annoying sometimes anyway

He is also the old good thing about pre-match entertainment.

dave Posted 28 February 2006 Posted 28 February 2006 Having been made redundant when the club went into admin i know what the people must feel like but the Birch is a genuine nice bloke although a bit of a dirty old man!!!! He kept in touch with people after the club went into admin and also arranged a couple of nights out someone at his own cost for the people who got the chop during administration. He also doesn't earn that much comparible to other people in the operations side of the club probably £25k at the absolute most if i remember rightly he's there every day as well not just on matchdays.

The soul is slowly being ripped out of our beloved club and there you are saying oh i dont really care if he goes. fork off!!! The amount he has done for LCFC and you dont care?? Our club will soon be devoid of any characters, life or passion. Suppose you'll be happy then Leicester fans do care about birch and i for one would fookin protest if this is true about his sacking.
