Scow Posted 3 March 2006 Posted 3 March 2006 I suppose it depends on what Tom is doing with the Cocktail Wizards - but I may put a team together if anyone is interested.
Random Burglar Posted 3 March 2006 Posted 3 March 2006 Cocktail Wizards may be entering 2 teams into the competition...a current side and a legends side from years gone by!!
Foxes_Trust Posted 3 March 2006 Author Posted 3 March 2006 Yay! There was a Foxes Talk team last year wasnt there and it was fecking freezing for spectators. I may pay more attention to people this year. Im sure Cobbo, Scowy etc would be interested again I could even persude Stezza The freezing aspect is one reason we moved it to a warmer month. Watch it snow first week in May now we've said that !
stez Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 The freezing aspect is one reason we moved it to a warmer month. Watch it snow first week in May now we've said that ! it was cold and we kept getting rained on by peoples evaporated sweat
Cobbo Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 it was cold and we kept getting rained on by peoples evaporated sweat Don't worry bud, that was just the crap leaking roof
Tomassi Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 The Mighty Cocktail Wizards will be entering 2 teams this season of mixed quantities!! Was hoping Cobbo and Scowy would join me but there interest seems to be elsewhere Cat Burger, Benji, The Hillsdonator are all playing
cisono Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 Just e-mail your interest at this stage to [email protected] Ehm just wanted to check... is this limited to guys only?
Cat Burger Posted 4 March 2006 Posted 4 March 2006 Ehm just wanted to check... is this limited to guys only? A girl definitely played in it last year.
Foxes_Trust Posted 5 March 2006 Author Posted 5 March 2006 Ehm just wanted to check... is this limited to guys only? No we welcome females into the competition as well The Internet Foxes featured Anne Newbury last year As it's the end of the season it would be great if Leicester Ladies put a side in
Bert Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 I'll be playing I'm not saying who for yet..... You guys will have to find out on the day
Trumpet Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 Is there an age restriction? Hope not cos i think i could get a team together.
Foxes_Trust Posted 6 March 2006 Author Posted 6 March 2006 Is there an age restriction? Hope not cos i think i could get a team together. Those under 16 cannot play - there is a legal reason this is the case, so it's out of our hands 16 & above no problem
Katy Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 The freezing aspect is one reason we moved it to a warmer month. Watch it snow first week in May now we've said that ! I thought it was a lot earlier last year. I think Team Bothered already have a set of characters, im apparently in goal
Bert Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 Shall I? Shan't I? Do what the fock you like... you normally do
Foxes_Trust Posted 6 March 2006 Author Posted 6 March 2006 Is there a limit on the number of teams competing? We can run a tournament on either 16 or 20 teams for completion on the day. The previous 2 years entries have been around this level. However if we get loads more interested we will run the event over 2 Sundays & then look to have at least a final between the 2 winners of each day (hopefully on the Walkers pitch if we can persuade the club), to establish an overall winner. That all depends on what initial interest is registered & ultimately how quickly teams pay for their entry.
Random Burglar Posted 7 March 2006 Posted 7 March 2006 Well the Cocktail Wizards are getting 2 sides involved. When i played a couple of years ago with some mates from school Ali Mauchlen had a side in it...any news of associates of LCFC getting involved?
