Where was you when.....

Ok, well we all remember where we were when major events happended in certain parts of our life, thought would be intresting to know where all you where when:- (sorry if a bit morbid lol but these are what stick out in my mind)

1. Princess Di Had The Fatal Car Crash - I was at home and my mum woke me up at apx 2 in the morning telling me about it.

2. Ayrton Senna fatal crash in the grand prix - I was on a school bus on the way back from Drayton Manor Park and was announced on the bus radio.

3. 9/11 - need i say more. I was at work and first heard it when Chris Moyles was on the 1pm slot, and he announced 'having reports in that a plane has struck the twin towers' then getting home and seeing it all over the news...never forget that.

4. (on a lighter note) when Leicester beat Middlesborough in the 2nd leg of the cup and Kamaark marked Juninho out the game - I was in, i think Oneil's one of my first nights out with my mates, then spending the remainder of the night in the town hall fountain and walking home soaked to the skin.

5. When Leicester beat Palace in the play off's and super Stevie Claridge scored that wonder goal and Kalac came on as sub in the last minute, ready for a peno shoot out, only to feel stupid celebrating the win when he never had time to do anything lol - Well thank god i was in Wembley having one of the best days of my life.

6. My first ever leicester game, my brother took me - and was Leicester V Middlesborough, think it was a playoff game, and we was outside the kop queing and all the gates where knocked down and was just a massive free for all to get in the ground, everyone was pushing and squashing everyone to get in (the good old days)

We missed about 10 minutes, also missing the middlesborough goal and i think Phill Gee's equaliser. Great Memory.

Feel free to add to it

the only one out of all of them that i can remember being somewhere is for the 9/11, i got home from school and my mum was sitting in front of the portable tv in one of the conservatories, she told me to come and look and i saw the images of the plane going in.

actually i can remember more. the palace game i was at home watching with all of my family.

the boro replay i think was shown on sky which we didn't have at the time, so we recorded the extended highlights on itv that evening without knowing the result ready to watch it early the next morning. the plan to sit through all of the highlights was ruined slightly as when we went to watch the recording and pressed play, the first image was of claridge with the cup in his hand. upon this sight me and my younger brother enjoyed a sereal silent mad celebration so not to wake the rest of the family due to the hourly hour of the day!
