UNFASHIONABLE? leicester city WHY?

DAILY MAIL thurs 23rd page 93 the lazy space filling journo's have used the "unfashionable" label against the name of leicester city once again.... why do they always do it..so infuriating especially when the story's about when MON took us to 2 cup wins........none of the other GLAMOUR clubs such as COV DERBY WBA have this everytime ... what makes clubs "fashionable" other than winning things anyway, so 95% of the football league can have this label tacked on them / and i think most supporters prefer the stylish royal blue rather than any other tacky colour... gotta go here's matron

Don't knock fox leisure, it's a high quality sports brand. I still wear my fox leisure trainers I'll have you know. My fox leisure trainers have lasted me well. I still wear all my fox leisure clothing with pride.

Fashionable in this sense obviously means attractive and the fashionable clubs attract the top players!

in regard to the daily mail, have still not bought a copy since the artical written by that twat jeff powell about us after the spurs league cup final. Vowed never to buy another copy and have managed to stick to it since. wanky london journos in general do not like us and call us unfashionable i think as a dig at us.

We are unfashionable, people form outside Leicester (other for reasons involving family ties) do not chose to support Leicester and fair proportion of Leicester locals support Man U or Livperool e.t.c.

If you read the letters page in the Mercury half the population seems to call the City of Leicester blind most of time and the rest couldn't give a toss. So what if we're not fashionable and as a Leicester man born and bred i am proud to call myself a Leicester City fan even if we are crap at times.

5. Being Midlanders LCFC fans do not have a chip on their shoulder and consequently lack passion.

6. Most journalists secretly support Man U and think every other club except Chelsea is 'unfashionable.'

7. Some journalists (when not emailing through their matchday copy while watching Sky Sports One) are permanently lodged up Arsene Wenger's arsehole and can hear him still muttering about Craig Hignett's last minute equaliser and Tim Flowers' shoot out saves

8. LCFC have been regarded as a 'hoof' team since the mid '70's.

9. LCFC are broke and do not have a billionaire chairman.

I feel we are largely ignored by the media. I have always wondered how small our match reports are in the Nationals, compared to other clubs in the same division.

Here in Swampy land, Ipswich are ALWAYS on BBC Look East, as are Norwich, Cambridge and Colchester - yet whenever I tune into BBC East Midlands on a friday evening (courtesy of my Sky box) not a mention of Leicester!!! Am I just unlucky?

My Dad says we are mentioned more on Central, but I can't get that down here....
