this is what the table will possibly look like next season.

I think leicester can out class all of these teams on our day.

If we can continue our impressive form into next season, then i would not be surprised to see us in the play offs or even pushing for automatic promotion next year.

brentford (from league 1)

burnley

cardiff

colchester (from league 1)

coventry

Stupidly optimistic. Derby down in 19th, Cardiff dropping to 12th, Leicester 2nd while Sunderland struggle to even make the play-offs? And what's with Stoke / Brentford?

Seeing as we don't know who's going to be manager, who's going to be playing for us, who's going to be playing for the opposition that's one tough question! .

Meh, gives me something to think about for the moment...

1. Portsmouth (Relegated from Premiership) - they have the money to be able to rebuild reasonably well.

2. Wolverhampton Wanderers - I think they will have a blinder.

----------------------------

3. Norwich City - should have sorted themselves out, and they have got the players to do a good job.

4. Southampton - I've got a feeling Burley will get his act together for the new season, get his squad in.

5. Birmingham City (Relegated from Premiership) - a dodgy one, they could either be great or crap.

6. Leicester City - perhaps a tad optimistic, but it's do able.

----------------------------

7. Coventry City - they won't go up this year, but knowing Micky will do okay with more golden oldees.

8. Crystal Palace - won't do as well as this year.

9. Sunderland (Relegated from Premiership) - will do okay but find it hard to get their footing in the season.

10. Preston North End - not as good as previous efforts.

11. Watford - Just failed on the Prem last season, mid-table this year for Boothroyd's boys.

12. Stoke City - not bad from them.

13. Ipswich Town - medocre middle-road season.

14. Swansea City (Promoted from League 1) - got the facilities and players to do pretty well.

15. Cardiff City - edged out by their Welsh counterparts

16. Burnley - will find this year much more difficult.

17. Luton Town - a worse season than last.

18. Sheffield Wednesday - maintaining championship football.

19. Huddersfield Town (Promoted from League 1) - should just stay up.

20. Derby County - another season of struggle in reality.

21. Plymouth Argyle - close call for the Pilgrims.

----------------------------

22. Hull City - a return to L1 for Peter Taylor.

23. Q.P.R. - i can see them having a disasterious season.

24. Southend Utd (Promoted from League 1) - i can't see them doing anything much.

how stupidly optimistic,

and how stupidly low have you put derby,

if your basing our success since levein leaving, then surely, derby would be in the same position next year,

i wonder if some of us leicester fans have brains,

If Cardiff can keep the side together and sign Koomas permanently they are going to be a threat and could do a Reading. I am pretty sure that Brum will fall apart - they have so many overpaid muppets (Melchiot, Heskey on current form) and sicknotes Muzzy, Dunn ) - there's about £150k a week just for starters - they will have to have a wholesale clear out.

Yes, a wholesale clear out i agree. Maybe a muzzy izzet return? Now that would be lovely...not sure about his wages though?!

Birmingham are screwed they will not go up. Neither will Sunderland. Derby are gonna be in big trouble (pleeeeeeeeeease....)

We will struggle to get promoted but I would expect nothing less than a top half finish

I wonder if some of us Leicester fans realise this is what individuals think, rather than being so small-minded to just immediatly shoot down any ideas. Of course me and the others who have done this excercise aren't speaking for everyone, and no doubt you have your own ideas - even if it's only how Leicester will do next year.

Why be so hostile in your response? If you think something is so wrong why don't you put your ideas up, or criticise properly? I don't see you doing this, and I think it's because you know that you would get the same response as I and others have. Of course it's going to be wrong, of course I've got so and so in the wrong place, no one is going to have the same ideas.

Remind me in future not to take part in anything which I thought would be something to create a good discussion. <_< Because with individuals like yourself it's obvious that's impossible.

I think that Sunderland have the best chance of going back up because they are likely to keep around the same squad I know they havent cut it at the top level but id say from some of the performances they have made they are still a threat ,although I might be wrong

If everyone who had their ideas slagged off on here did that then there would be no one posting - dont let the minority put you off doing and/or saying stuff, its a good thread!

your probaly all just stone island wearing wannabe yobos,

think realistic, as if we are going to finish 2nd next season, mid table at best, maybe a lucky late run, and push for 6th, nothing more,

i'm not stupid you see ;)

Considering you can't spell, I think you are stupid after all.

Yeah sorry for flying off the hook a bit, I just felt that there were nicer ways of responding than how dj27 did. It doesn't encourage people to post when someone responds so negativly without explaining himself.

Their will be first team players sold close season barring unexpected investment or surge in season ticket sales.

Also we dont know who the manager will be.

the following is assuming birmingham wholesale clearout and change of manager, sunderland new manager, cardiff lose koumas, palace lose johnson, leeds strengthen, kelly stays and we sell 2 of our current first team players.

1.Norwich

2.Leeds

3.WBA

4.Watford

5.Coventry

6.Leics

7.Palace

8.Wolves

9.Preston

10.Ipswich

11.Birmingham

12.Southampton

13.Sunderland

14.Southend

15.Cardiff

16.Sheff wed

17.Derby

18.Brentford

19Plymouth

20.Stoke

21.Burnley

22.Hull

23.QPR

24.Colchester

Without a doubt their is a lot of good teams next season and we will need some to underperform to make the playoffs.

probably, i do apologise, if thats all you can pick up on...

You're*

Anyway, my point is quite hidden, there are better ways of introducing yourself to somewhere.

You're pushing over your opinion as if it is written in stone with a sly dig at people in there too, so grow up a bit and realise that people won't always think the same as one another.
