Filbert a bit embaressing? His antics before the match, trying to get the crowd going, dancing etc are getting cringeworthy. Its all very well showing kids round before the game but shouldn't he realy spend more time in front of the family stand? hardly anyone responds to him in the kop and he looks a fool. How profesional do you think the players feel when trying tofocus on the game they have to shake hands with a bloke in a fox costume who is still on the pitch!

Not ripping into filbert, just think he should calm it down! :ermm:

Should get some fights going with the opposition mascots, I think the crowd would respond more to that :P

you mean like the famous "Battle of Bristol" when Wolfie the Wolves mascot picked a fight with the 3 coldseal pigs!!

Not as embarrassing as the new cringeworthy version of the Post Horn Gallop playing at a stupidly loud level every game. Horrible - how anyone can allow it to carry on being played after the first 20 seconds.

Agreed it is awful! Can't see why we can't follow Cov's lead on this one and play a bit of Song 2 or Kasabian or something with a bit more quality when we score.

I noticed on Saturday that people were clapping along in time with it. Now that's what I call embarrassing.

Another amusing thing at Cov was at half time when the camp announcer introduced a Cov 'legend' and there was no response from the crowd whatsoever. Whether it was the fact that the PA system was so distorted and no one could hear what he said or the fact that no one actually knew who he was - classic!
