what even though for most of the year it's hotter than the Sun in Singapore?

Singapore lives in the tropics and doesn't have seasons

Average daytime temp is 30 degrees all year round - It drops to 25 at night!

There are thunder storms most days though not always rain

But yeah I could live here - I hate the cold anyway

Dubai aswell?

Or are you flying from Heathrow straight through to Singapore? I have always flown from Birmingham to Dubai change planes at Dubai, Dubai to Singpore, Singapore to Australia.

I've been to singapore but never got of the plane there. The 2 times i've been, Birmingham to Dubai have been fine, Its waiting at the Airport that kills me, then Dubai to Singapore I normally sleep so its not too bad but when we get to Singapore both times I have never got off, but we're only there for a hour to refuel anyway. Then Singapore to Australia is fine till you reach Australia then you realise you have another 5 to 7 hours to reach Melbourne - Minutes feel like hours

I'm going/and been with Emirates, If your "upgraded to First Class because they 'sold' your seats" they are quality! ;):banana:

First Class = Your own little cubical's with flat bed, reclining chair, TV, Personal Mini Bar, e.t.c - Awesome!

Can anyone explain the fascination with watching cars going round in circles?:yawn:

If they span off like scalextric cars then I could understand it, or did a figure of 8 stock car circuit ... but watching fast bank holiday traffic doesdn't do it for me ~ give me bikes any day.

Just hope the leg room is ok, I'm just a bit over 6'2 and I've heard horror stories on how cramped it can be...

My airline of choice is Virgin - but their flights to Singapore are just code shares and the flight is in fact with Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines have only two class of travel Economy and Business - So I had to fly British Airways so I could fly Premium Economy or World Traveller Plus or whatever they want to call it

There's no way I could handle 12+ hours in economy - Unless I was paying for the flight myself
