As some of you know on here I have a diamond stud in my ear ( gay I know ) but the problem is , I was smacked few weeks back and got caught on the ear it bled like a barsteward , swelled up and the lark. Then I noticed that the skin had grown over the back of it! So I've just been to doctors and she could'nt get the earing out. So went up to A and E and they reckon I've got to have some sort of operation on it 'cos the butterfly clip has got lost in my ear haha! Boring story I know but I thought I'd let you all know
macbeth Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 if it is in your ear lobe it should be not much of a problem ; however in the thin gristly area it can result in serious problems as the blood supply is poor to that area and often goes gangrenous and results in ear amputation........hope i have put your mind at rest

The nurse can see it , but she cant get a hold of it! But she just explained it was a case of slicing the lobe taking it out and sticthing it up again. Lovely. And Ricey I did'nt get beat up. Go make some shirts :pinch: haha only joking.
