Well, isn't this saucy.

Just got back from The invention of lying.

If you cut the first twenty minutes then its a brilliant film with an actor, in gervais, who could make you laugh even if he was telling you something sad. His expressions, timing etc brilliant as always.

Nice to see him have the freedom as an actor due to him being writer and director.

Solid 8/10

I really didnt enjoy the film to be honest, didnt really interest me, it was trying to go for the whole european horror thing but I think it failed miserably.

Saw 5 only seemed like last week.

Ive always said the saw delivers exactly what its supposed to, its not about the acting or the production quality, its just pure shock value, and I look forward to it.

No but its a good laugh still, a movie that I would happily go and watch and although it wouldn't set the world alight it will fill 90 minutes and probably be reasonably entertaining.
