NFFC Chris Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Well from a neutral prespective of course not,Sunderland are full of confidance and your lacking confidence at the moment.Don't worry though I'm sure you'll beat Colchester the following week.
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 For the first time in a long time I dont believe we can win on Saturday, however I cant bring myself to insult my team, so I say Yes.
filbertway Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Everyone going to bet sunderland to win on saturday then? Well those who like a flutter anyway?
Ultra Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 The chances of a victory on Saturday are no worse than they were at QPR last season. And we were playing a lot worse then! If the likes of Plymouth and Southend can beat Sunderland there's no reason why we can't.
Chrysalis Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 yes on the basis that when we do win its when its least expected.
Ultra Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 1-1 draw in the end. Best away performance of the season by a distance. A few posters will be busy eating their words tonight!
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I shall be one of them. Didn't think we had a chance of getting anything today, not even a point. But the lads went out there today and proved we can cause many problems for the form sides in the league, even away from home. Consistency and killer-instinct are now the key for us
Magictv Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Can't speak much at the minute I'm too busy eating some Anyone fancy a slice?
The People's Hero Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 1-1 draw in the end. Best away performance of the season by a distance. A few posters will be busy eating their words tonight! Not really because like has been said elsewhere, we even had the odd good performance/result under Levein which papered over very obvious cracks. I'm not going to take back criticism whilst we're languishing near the bottom of the table.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 September 2006 Author Posted 16 September 2006 Well I was right. We didn't win.
Suffolk_fox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I was very surprised, especially when we took the lead. We should have more threads like this one, could jinx the opposition...
Loake Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 shouldn't it be those who said yes that are eating humble pie
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 It'll be a very popular dish tonight! hehe very good Ultra. Why don't you try brining that league table signature you were running last season back? I don't particularly want RK gone, my problems with the board, a problem that is there for all to see, however if you really think that one draw away to fellow championship strugglers is going to change the mind of the anti kelly contingent think again, we are still in the bottom half and as you said If the likes of Plymouth and Southend can beat Sunderland there's no reason why we can't. Except we didn't beat them we got a point. proves nothing really. Colchester, Brum and Southampton may do however.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 An obvious no. Most things in football are never predictable but a Sunderland victory is. :pinch:
Daggers Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 shouldn't it be those who said yes that are eating humble pie No
