Ric Flair Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 The guy is a meglomaniac fruit cake ( and a woman beater as well ). He can stay on whatever planet he is inhabiting as far as I'm concerned. Would you have Djibril Cisse or Craig Bellamy if you had the chance?
Swedging Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 After 5 years where his exercise has mostly been pouring ale down his throat and tugging his johnson in car parks, he'll never get fit enough.

So your honestly telling me that if he was put under a gruelling fitness regime for a month that he still wouldn't be able to turn players like Matt Heath and Gary Doherty inside out? Course he would, he could still do that with 3 grams up his chuff, 18 stella's and a copy of razzle stuck to his pecker.

I still could probabley of turned Matt Heath inside out though.

Collymore Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 What a complete and utter legend! I think I would move back down to Leicester if Collymore returned.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 What a complete and utter legend! I think I would move back down to Leicester if Collymore returned. So are you or what?
Collymore Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 So are you or what? If I had 1% of Collymore's ability, I would be good enough to play for Chelsea.
Master Fox Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 If I had 1% of Collymore's ability, I would be good enough to play for Chelsea. If you had 1% of ability to be able to kick a ball you would be good enough to play for Leicester City
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 If I had 1% of Collymore's ability, I would be good enough to play for Chelsea. It's nice to dream isn't it. Even if he was shit at least it'd be interesting.
Foxy1984 Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 I'd take him back.. someone will give him a chance and i wouldn't be upset if it was us. he does have genuine talent and i doubt he would be able to get back to his prime, but might be able to finish his career in a better way than he has at the moment.... .. with some sparkling performances for leicester
Surreal Madrid Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 I recall he attempted a comeback a couple of years or so back, which ended ended in tears. I don't think an extra couple of years doing his kind of " training " would have improved his chances of being successful this time around.
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 I think his best bet is Villa, if MON is stupid enough to sign a 33 year old Chris Sutton I'm sure he wouldn't say no to Collymore.
Master Fox Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 It would take a truly desperate manager and desperate club to take Collymore on. I guess Leicester City and it's manager couldn't be more desperate so you never know......
teblin Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 One thing he has that you don't really lose is abilty. But can't see it myself.
Ultra Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 It would take a truly desperate manager and desperate club to take Collymore on. You got it! Yes Stan was quality for us once upon a time. But so was Frankie Wortho. Next we'll be besieged with posts asking for HIM to come back! I read the article in today's Mirror. It's clear Stan still has some serious issues. Until he's sorted them out, the chances of him making a comeback in English football are less than zero!
Strokes Posted 4 October 2006 Author Posted 4 October 2006 Bring back Frank worthington, i heard he's in good shape these days.
Ultra Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Bring back Frank worthington, i heard he's in good shape these days. Probably better than Stan, that's for sure..
