The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Well, I doubt they will be aloud anymore because ive brought my ticket for L Block. Fare play to the Vila for selling there tickets so fast Good times for them... good times to be a VILLA fan. Takeover plus the MON factor.
lookwhaticando Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Good times for them... good times to be a VILLA fan. Takeover plus the MON factor. Sickening, really, isn't it? Villa fans aren't allowed to be happy. Ever. It's just not right.
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 With MON there, I'm softening towards them. What's really irked me recently is to see Coventry doing alright
the believer Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 With MON there, I'm softening towards them. What's really irked me recently is to see Coventry doing alright Hi lads. Just to let you know that the Villa are really up for this game. Our nearest derby this season is Sheffield Utd so the chance to come for a cup game down the other end of the 69 is too good an opportunity to miss. We got offered the same deal as well- season ticket holders could buy tickets for a tenner so fair play to your ticketing guys, very rare that an offer like that is replicated for the away fans. Went on sale Monday morning and were all sold by Tuesday afternoon. Rob Kelly is indeed a Villa fan and one who shall we say was quite active in his younger days. He'll be busting a gut to get one over us. I remember watching the Spuds game last year when you did them . Is De Vries still with you? I always remember a few Leicester supporting colleagues saying MON was the messiah. I thought it was a load of crap but after seeing how the man has singlehandedly completely changed our club around in the space of a month , I must admit I tend to agree with them now. Looking forward to the game, I think it is going to be very, very tight
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Anyone who doubted MON is a bit of a pillock, but we can let you off as you were likely just jealous of your bigger local neighbour! (Oh ho ho ho!) And narh, we've been trying to force De Vries on everyone else in the footballing world and have finally got him to fock off on loan. Elvis is still here, mind, he popped up last weekend vs. Brum. We'd all like to think we've got better attacking options than MDV, though. ;0

I reckon I'll be able to get to the ground by about 6.15-6.30 with any luck
the believer Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 so then foxes, who are the players we need to watch for? who will be playing left back, left wing because they are going to have their hands full with Gabby Agbonlahor. He is very raw and can sometimes forget to take the ball with him when he is running but nobody in the premier has been able to live with him yet for pace. Konchesky, Babayaro , even Eboue have struggled against him. Petrov is also settling in now and has already struck up an almost telepathic understanding with Angel.

Johansson (our left back) has bags of pace, Agbonlahor will be like putty in his hand.
Milky Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Johansson (our left back) has bags of pace, Agbonlahor will be like putty in his hand. you salty seadog

Johansson will eat Agbonlahor for breakfast and brunch. in all seriousness though if Hume and Fryatt got there boots on and were serviced properly by Williams/Hughes/Weso (not JOHNSON THE WBA REJECT) we could be dangerous.

Fox in a Box Posted 5 October 2006 Author Posted 5 October 2006 Villa have secured an extra 900 tickets for the Carling Cup trip to Leicester City on Tuesday October 24. The last few seats from the original 3,200 allocation were snapped-up yesterday as the Claret and Blue Army back Martin O'Neill's bid for silverware. But Ticket Office officials have reached an agreement with the Foxes for an additional allocation. The tickets will be on sale later today.
Wils Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Wonder where they will be....Family stand surely? If people already have there tickets for L1
Sods Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 I would have thuught so as it would mean chasing up your tickets. I really hope we bring the atmosphere out for this game.
lcfc_jme Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 I would have thuught so as it would mean chasing up your tickets. I really hope we bring the atmosphere out for this game. It would be nice. And it'd also be interesting to see how the players reacted and performed in a fuller stadium when they are the massive underdogs. If that can't bring the best out of them then maybe we deserve to go down

lcfc_jme Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 True. All i'm asking for is a decent performance. well.....maybe a good atmosphere for us Blue boys COME ON!!!!! It'd be nice to get a decent performance out of the side, but really if they can't rise to the big occasion and perform infront of one of our biggest crowds (the biggest most of them have played infront of) then maybe they don't deserve to wear the shirt or play in our side full stop. What we will definitely be assured of is a great atmosphere, villa will have over 4,000 down and we should easily sell at the very least 26,000. Should be a great night.. (how long will I have to queue for to get me tickets for it would you say??)
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 I will be disappointed if we don't get served up the usual substandard dross. Instead of "raising your game" for a Premiership team in the Cup, how about playing like a half-decent football team that all get paid thousands of pounds a week against Colchester. Mercenaries.
Matt Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Got my tickets today ...Yey lets celebrate the fact I/we got tickets to see us get hammered!
