Manwell Pablo Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 It seems, despite all the insults hurled at the board by Barton, that they have actually listened to one of his suggestions. Eithet that or this is just a big coinsidence I was asked if I was going to the Palace game by a work collegue about 5 minutes ago, as her son (who attends Ivanhoe school, Ashby) has two free tickets given out by the school to students without a black mark by their name. Have to say the two for 25 quid deal, and now giving free tickets to schools! Hats off to the board for getting the community involved. Still, wouldnt mind seeing some football <_<.
Ric Flair Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 I'm pretty sure Barton has been involved in the running of a football club somewhere down the line or he knows someone who has, from the impression I get.

If he's the Tarton Fox from the FoxFanzine site then I believe he used work at Wimbledon when they were in the top league.

As a season ticket holder I agree but there seems to be a fair number that have been moaning to the club. I don't know some fans just seem to moan and moan

The People's Hero Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Yeah! It's ridiculous! With everything being so rosy, you'd think moaning would be at an absolute minimum. I'd roll my eyes, but I'm not quite that pathetic.

The People's Hero Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 is that a statement of fact or just another moan Oh you know me, always moaning, refusing to bury my head in the sand or don the rose tinted specs. No changing me.
BartonFox Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Ha ha, you see they pay numpties thousands in the Marketing Department yet they get most of their ideas from the fans and these forums. I said ages ago the best way to market a Club is by using their fans.

Daggers Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 The term "involving" would be better - "using - sounds more like offering one year kit cycles" Semantics... A rose by any other name would smell as sweet
