PAULCFC Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Nallis!Scores from midfield,can tackle a bit........discuss!
Bert Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 There is a reason why in one season he played for 3 different clubs.

PAULCFC Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 Inconsistency?? Lack of real quality?? Inability to settle?? Trouble maker?? He was allways more consitant than williams/hughes from what i've seen and i'm still waiting to see any quality from williams(3 years is it now?) Seemed fairly settled at the club as for trouble maker i don't really know about that.

Seemed fairly settled at the club as for trouble maker i don't really know about that. the trouble maker thing was just me being an idiot because of the time and my tiredness. However I wouldn't have thought he was the most easily-settled player if he's constantly moving around - surely it'd be difficult to keep adjusting and finding his feet with new players and new settings all the time?? Something to do with his quality or his consistency would be the key to bertfox's post I should think. A player wouldn't be passed between 3 clubs in one season if he was half decent. He didn't look too bad for us but since then he hasn't really accomplished anything at all, and I've barely heard his name mentioned without him having a new team (Have I gone for injuries being a factor yet?? If not, I'll throw injuries into the mix as well )

PAULCFC Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 He did go out to cov as well for a couple of months from sheffield!Forgot that! But the sad thing is that he could still liven up our midfield!
Thracian Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Not enough consistent impact. Joey was not everyone's cup of tea but was always going to be difficult to replace. Right now Andy King would be my choice.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Nalis is still here isn't he? Stupid early-90s male model long-haired central midfielder? Check. One-speed gearbox (slow)? Check. Propensity to fire the ball into the crowd from all angles? Check. Don't be fooled by two or three decent goals. Nalis was turd.

I liked the look of him before THAT Leeds game, and i loved him afterwards
shen Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 We don't miss Nalis, but we should possibly have kept Gillespie. We assumed we could get someone of equal or better ability, but we haven't
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Better than Johnson. I think most people are better than Johnson
Cheese Me Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Nalis was decent enough - not brilliant but better than most of what we've got in the middle right now
The People's Hero Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Better in the premiership where you get more time. Too lightweight for this division. I know we like defensive midfielders who are scared to tackle... just one in a long line of dissappointing 'box-to-box' midfielders we've had. Still, he was a nice bloke.
