Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Worth a read. Link Nice for it to be another bunch instead of us! My favourite; "And who the f*** is Iain Hume? According to the stats, he had only scored 1 goal all season before today so how did we manage to let him score two screamers?"
lookwhaticando Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006    Clueless dink, not knowing who Iain Hume is.
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 hes the bloke who just ran rings around there team and sunk them to 9th. theyve got it real bad right now, and playing Cardiff on tuesday - ouch.
Finnegan Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I appreciate we don't have a great side at the moment, but Hume's not particually unknown.
Maybes Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 As their fans are being mentioned, i thought their vocal backing today was terrific.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 As their fans are being mentioned, i thought their vocal backing today was terrific. They were awesome last day of last season. Appreciate that they were on a decent run, last day carnival atmosphere etc but still better than we've ever had.
syston_fox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Just been looking through the site and here's the best quote so far: The leicester commentators are doing my nut in Universally hated by all then!
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Im just making an account on there to have a little word with them
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 they really are sour arent they understatement of the year. Grumpy, sour, miserable b*st*rds Funny though - they expect to be going up!!!!!!!
Suffolk_fox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 They also noticed JB's "The ref blows his watch" comment (but my post got lost amongst the TPH and TPHH love-in)
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I Find this hilarious that the e-mail address' i used to try and make an account on that Saints Chat is banned
The People's Hero Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 They also noticed JB's "The ref blows his watch" comment (but my post got lost amongst the TPH and TPHH love-in) It was a good love-in though!
Tubes Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 yeah their supporters were good today!! why do they allways do that we are the left side/right side chant between either sides it was funny
Maybes Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 yeah their supporters were good today!! why do they allways do that we are the left side/right side chant between either sides it was funny It was funny, but then it started to annoying me immensely.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 Northampton fans do something a bit like that. Must be a Thampton thing. Intensely irritating though.
Leicfox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Tbf the whole of the Championship think were shit too not just Southampton.
Thracian Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Well they do sound disgruntled but if I'd have been a Southampton fan I'd have said they didn't go at us enough. From where I was sitting any defence would have found it hard to cope with Hume's two strikes cos he didn't piss about and he hit em sweetly as can be. But Southampton weren't adventurous and only sreally stirred when they went behind. It's not only us and England with that attitude away from home.
Ultra Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 They were awesome last day of last season. Appreciate that they were on a decent run, last day carnival atmosphere etc but still better than we've ever had. What's with the inferiority complex? I wasn't at St Mary's that day but I find that statement VERY hard to believe...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 What's with the inferiority complex? I wasn't at St Mary's that day but I find that statement VERY hard to believe... For a start they had far more songs than we've ever sung at the Walkers, sung them louder and in far more numbers - and some of them were interesting and original. As opposed to; Du du du du Matty Fryatt. There's only one [insert player's name here]. Leicester, Leicester, Leicester. Truth hurts.
Daggers Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Considering St Mary's was built on top of a load of brothels, I hardly see that they have anything to be huffy about.
Joe. Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 It is really funny to look at other team's forums after their team has lost! Not knowing the legendary HUUUUUME- shame on them all...
lildave3 Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 For a start they had far more songs than we've ever sung at the Walkers, sung them louder and in far more numbers - and some of them were interesting and original. Not true... we also have: du du du du, conrad logan du du du du, elvis hammond aswel as du du du du, matty fryatt. As seen at Brum
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 They had a particularly great song for Rasiak but I can't remember what the tune was. It used a song I'd never heard at football before, as opposed to every single player having Pigbag sung at him endlessly.
