JoeyB Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 erm you need to open ports in your router(dont know how) and then you need to go to preferences and tick run as main server start a new game and then dish out the ip address in your genral info bit to the people who want to play btw make sure your all using the same patch, (database)
gilesyboy Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Can't get FM over here (NZ) but still spend the occasional hour or so on CM 2000/01, Collymore & Eadie up front - fantastic!! Anyway, Imagine my delight stumbling across CM 2006 for Playstation priced $40 - get in!! Got it home and it's sh*te, no playbility really, tactics seem really hard, players always unfit despite numerous attempts to change the trainign schedules - Give up. Will probably order FM and get it sent over, but in order to not be disappointed again I need to know from you guys, a) Is it any good? b) What is the Playstation version like or should I stick to PC? Cheers

Hereford-Fox Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 was leicester for about 4 seasons but i wanted a chalange so i decided to be my second and local club, after being in league 2 for 4 seasons in a row, around 9th place each year, i finally gained promotion via the play-offs beating altringham in the final 2-1. in the summer i picked up a few players on free transfers, the best of them were billy sharp of scunny and dominick blizzard. i then gained a second promotion in the new season and stayed in mid table of the champs for the next 5 seasons until i won promotion to the prem, i then sold billy sharp to hartlepool for 4m. my first season in the prem i have played 8 won 1, drawn 4 and lost 5 my only win was against chelski 4 - 1 at edgar street. is it just me or does an english team almost always win the champions league? chelski one it once, then man utd 3 times in a row and liverpool a few times

lildave3 Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 yer mate soz about that! thought people might cotton on but obviously not! Most people did Well my West Ham season is changing a lot. A run of 8 straight defeats was ended by two wins in a row. Danny Szetela, Lasse Qvist and Dennis Boskailo have been brought in for the future. Tried to get inostroza, Millan and Quintana but none of them got wp's.

andy_croydz Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 Ahhhh an FM 2007 thread Just a little story about my career on it so far... I started off at Bognor Regis Town in the conference south (wanted a challenge and my grandad loves Bognor ) And it was a big challenge! I finished the first season in the play offs but lost in the final and then the second season I really kicked on and finished top and won the league by about 10 or more points 3rd season... I found it very very difficult to get any players in the off-season and I got pretty upset about that, because with our current players we were never going to be more than mid table at the best in conference national, So i ended up resigning after about 1-2 games. I was then out of a job for a long time! About a year in the games terms, I couldn't get a job for love nor money so I decided that I would try and get a job with a team in the lowest scottish league and give it a shot. Now I seen that Peterhead were looking for a manager so I applied and they got back to me and wanted to take me on, so I accepted and I joined them in December 2009, at that time they were struggling and at the end of that season I only managed to take them up a few places and finish about 6th out of 10 teams. The next season though I ended up winning the league by a big margin! And I also came runner up in the Scottish League Challenge Cup which is a cup which includes all teams from Divisions 1, 2 and 3 so to come runner up was amazing I almost won it aswell! The final against he holders Dundee United went to extra time and I scored in extra time and went crazy but then they equalised right in the last minute and took it to penaltys where they won The next season in division 2 I won the league again by a big margin and I was really starting to love it at Peterhead! Now currently in my 4th season with them I have just started the Division 1 campaign and we have played 2 and lost 2 but was very unlucky to lose the first game, was 2-0 down and came back to 2-2 and they scored in the last minute and I was gutted, but Im hoping we can stay up this season Ive just got the nigeria job aswell so I'll tell you how im getting on with them in another post... For now I'll just post a few screenshots of my Peterhead career.
