potter3 Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I found it much easier to play quick football in Italy, I couldn't stop scoring.
Brainy Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Resigned with York early in the new season, which I always planned to do. Bowed out with a disappointing 0-3 home defeat to Mansfield (the only team below me in the table ) Took just under two months to get back into management - QPR who were struggling in the Championship. I'm just going on holiday and coming back every month to check if I was doing alright. Same plans with QPR - stabalise the club, then bring in my own players in the summer. Of course I had to meet York in the FA Cup Beat them in the REPLAY
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I found it much easier to play quick football in Italy, I couldn't stop scoring. Which team were you though. Udineses defense is basically a under 21 side, and you get 950k to sort it out.
Tommeh Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 That Leicester file went completely tits up, I got sacked in February sitting 20th in the championship - Levein Esc. I'll put it down to my first attempt on the game, and the fact Hume, fryatt, weso and Williams were all injured for most of the season. Just started a new file with Arsenal, the only thing I needed to look at was the defence with Clichy and senderos out at the start of the game and £20M to spend I've brought in Baines for £6M and Micah Richards for £4M Plus Flamini, season just about to start.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Deportivo have offered 2.8 million plus Manuel Pablo for Barreto. Don't see me turning that one down somehow.

Roma altough I've just realised that was on FM06, but I think that would have made it harder? What with Milan being better and Juventus in the league And you can't go wrong with your CB's: Felipe and Zapata Lukovic (sp?) Isn't to bad either. Started a game iwth Monaco, my board are retarded, they'll let me offer some Key PLayers £20'000, yet others they restrict to £1'900 It's really hard to bring players in, more often that not they restrict it to 2 grand <_<

However after a last gasp 1-0 win over Livorno and I am somehow sitting pretty in 2nd after 15 games, Roma up next though
FilboFox Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 I bought FM2007 today with the option of returning it... it's going back tomorrow... It really isn't as good as I'd hoped it to be apart from the fact that there are the updated players and the feeder clubs I still prefer the 05 layout...
Geo V Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Since I aquired a copy of this game (excuses start here), I have at times managed about ten clubs to success so got so bored with it (have taken Leicester to Premier and Champs League success, more excuses) I decided to take on a D1 side for the challenge. I must hold my hands up and admit I have sinned. I took over F***st and guided them into the Championship as winners. It was difficult going because when they won at times I was a little sad. Please forgive me for taking up the challenge. The good news is I didnt sign a new deal and have ended up with a shite skint Serie B side called Modena . More good news is that 6 games into the Champs season I can see F***st sitting bottom of the league .
Alexikokopops Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Had one sending off all season, and it comes to Febuary when I'm pushing for Europe I get five sending offs in three games, all three match bans. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Couple this with 3 injuries from international duty and I'm not a happy chappy.
Simi Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Took Leicester into the Prem via 2nd place. Made a few signings : Leroy Lita Walter Basaegio (sp) Kasper Schmichael (sp) Then I got offered the Man U job and took that. Fancied a different challenge.
JoeyB Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 not been on this for ages, for got who my last team were
Brainy Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 York for 5 seasons (two successive promotions and kept them up in League One) - resigned QPR for 1 year (inconsistent form in a league I was tipped to cruise through made my decision easy) - resigned Ipswich for 18 months (took them to the Premiership, had a very good team who failed to perform. Issued an ultimatum and got sacked (I wanted to resign but I did it in a different way )) Bradford - Current (took them from 18th into 3rd in 6 months, with 5 games remaining, i'm looking OK for an automatic spot)
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 I just have to say that Jan Koller is immense If it's in the air, he wins it. Same in real life, and used to be fantastic on pro evo 5 as well.
Leicfox Posted 21 April 2007 Posted 21 April 2007 Ashley Chambers is immence on this, i plucked him from the youth team due to injuries and he's scored 10 goals in 7 games.
FilboFox Posted 21 April 2007 Posted 21 April 2007 I created a club - Fosse FC - and have only just started... I checked the predictions for the seasona and I'm expected to lose every game. 50-1 for me to win with the other teams all at 1-33...
Alexikokopops Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 Just started unemployed and got the job at Bradford. Ian Ormondroyd is my Youth Coach. Fantastic.
Brainy Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 Oh, oh, Bradford! Keep Johnson Im in 2015 and he's still going strong.
Simi Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 After watching the Cup final against Tranmere on FoxTravel yesterday I'm tempted to re-create that time.
FilboFox Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 On FM2007 it says that Leicester have 0% hardcore fans... I'd like to challenge that! I bet some of you on here go to like every game!
lildave3 Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 On FM2007 it says that Leicester have 0% hardcore fans... I'd like to challenge that! I bet some of you on here go to like every game! No it doesn't.
potter3 Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 On FM2007 it says that Leicester have 0% hardcore fans... I'd like to challenge that! I bet some of you on here go to like every game! That just means it calculates it randomly when you start a new game
Brainy Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 Edited my game, started with Redditch United and gave myself a team of Championship and Premiership stars. 12 games gone - 12 wins, 73 goals and 0 conceded. Yes I got bored
