Tommeh Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 loaded up the game yesterday on my laptop and it was as slow as fcuk, now though on the pc I'm going places, only played 5 games but currently 4th. just sold Nisse for £1M to Brum mainly because his contracts up and 1m is alot to spend at this level
Flexx Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Just beat Reading 6-0 at the Madjeski in the first game of the season in prem. Chambers is worth 5 Million and is touted as the next Jimmy Greaves, and sign Hovland the keeper from Norway (Will cost around 10k and will become the most expensive keeper on the game)

They did to me because Nissa was a key player.
Brainy Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Been promoted with York via the play offs for the second year running. Finished 4th in League Two, losing out on an automatic promotion spot on the last day. Currently in League One and struggling. Had no luck whatsoever with transfers.
potter3 Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Did the players moan at you for that. They did to me because Nissa was a key player. He was the last player I got rid of from the starting line up on my game. He was quality for me, he was forced out by Leighton Baines and teven Taylor though
Simi Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Nearing promotion now to the Prem. Billy Sharp scored 20 plus goals again.
Stevosevic Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Billy Sharp scored 53 goals for me in League 1 and Augustin Delgado bagged 23 as i walked away with the division. As S***thorpe

potter3 Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Nah you won't, sign some rejects like Drogba like I did and you'll be fine

potter3 Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 He's on there already if you have the patch, and Porter and Gradel are both quality.
Tommeh Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Thought you would be early enough ! Did you edit the database and put Milan in ? no, didnt think
Tommeh Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 QPR at t'walkers now, surely its a home banker......tbc edit: fooking yessssss, fooking aliou fooking cisse, wesos replacement, 1-0 get in!!!! edit: Hume missed penalty, still 1-0 edit: H/T 1-0 edit: bollocks!!!! 1-1 edit: Yesssssssss matty Fryatt last minute!!!!!!!!! du du du du!! edit: nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! even more last minute 2-2!!!!! dam!
Finnegan Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I'm concluding this game's still a bit too easy, tbh. I don't think I'm amazing at it, really, but with a half decent knowledge of who's who in the SPL / Scandinavia it's just all too easy to reach the dizzy heights with any club. Sure, it's harder than LMA, EA TCM and PM, but it's still not truly hard enough IMO.

Brainy Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I think my four years at York City are over. I guided them to a respectable position in the Conference, then two back-to-back promotions via the play-offs. Im a point above the relegation zone with five games left in League One. My target is obviously just to stay up and move on to a bigger club. My job's done here
Tommeh Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 That right there is ADDICTION. I'd prefer to be a FM07 addict than an FT post whore yes JME, wils, LD3, you etc. etc.

If I'm stuffing a side 3-0, it should be pretty damn rare for them to score 4 in the last 15 minutes. Obviously, it can happen, but in this its happened repeatedly, often courtesy of last minute dodgy penalties. Of course, harvesting players evens the balance although the ridiculous AI for the player deals is irritating as hell.
Brainy Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 T H E . . G R E A T . . E S C A P E After Matchday 45 and the table looked like: 19th: Brighton - 46 pts 20th: Luton - 44 pts 21st: York - 44 pts 22nd: Bristol Rovers - 42 pts After Matchday 46... ^^ Brighton 3-0 Hartlepool Doncaster 2-3 York Luton 1-2 Cardiff Swindon 2-3 Bristol Rovers Two successive promotions and a great escape - it's time to depart.

I was England, in the World Cup Final, comfortably 3-0 up at half time, I thought I'll leave it Columbia haven't got the quality to threaten me. 75 minutes later we go into penaties with the score at 3-3 I also lose the penalties <_<

Manwell Pablo Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Decided to dust this down and start a game with Udinese. So thats defensive tatics and short passing then, time wasting turned up to the max after we get a goal.
