That's good cos we have a full quota of highly unrealistic people who post totally unsubstantiated, and in many cases wildly slanderous, rumours*. Welcome! *me included, obviously.
Leonisco Posted 26 October 2006 Posted 26 October 2006 I've only ever cried twice at Leicester games. First time was when Wycombe knocked us out the FA Cup with that last-minute Essandoh header. I was only about 9 or 10 and cried my eyes out all night because I really believed we were going to win it that year. Second time was THAT game against Wolves - 3-0 up at HT then lost 4-3. Though that was out of sheer frustration rather than me actually feeling sad.

Welcome! *me included, obviously. Ok how is this for being real.....if we have a look at it historically Leicester have a 'glory' period (staying in the top flight or winning a cup) every 15-20 years ago, that means we will have to wait till around 2010 before we hit the glory trail.
Ashley Posted 26 October 2006 Posted 26 October 2006 a pass Actally it was a gary nevill throw in turn and hit it on half volley still remember it to this day STAND UP IF U LOVE LEICESTER (Whole ground stood) for the last 5-10 minutes
Wils Posted 26 October 2006 Posted 26 October 2006 Whats wrong with you all, tarts. I thought us City fans were well 'ard. (I balled my eyes out on tuesday) :pinch:

Filbert_Ross Posted 26 October 2006 Posted 26 October 2006 STAND UP IF U LOVE LEICESTER (Whole ground stood) for the last 5-10 minutes that was amazing. as the clock ticked away, the man.u fans were singing 'going down in 5 minutes.... going down in 4 minutes....' etc then the whole ground stood up.
Durnerz Posted 27 October 2006 Posted 27 October 2006 Tuesday I came very close. Genuinely believed we'd go on and win when Henderson saved the penalty. The only other real ones include Brighton at home 2003 promotion. 2001/2 season when we were 2-0 up against Chelsea in a game we needed to win to really stand a chance of survival, and when Hasselbainks goal went in for 3-2 given the fact Chelsea didn't deserve it and we'd given so much effort I felt a few tears, plus the people around me where the same, horrible stuff.
Asha Posted 27 October 2006 Posted 27 October 2006 probably at wolves. 3-0 up. and fooked it up (i was crying with anger, not joy)
filbertway Posted 27 October 2006 Posted 27 October 2006 Was really guttted against spurs in the final, but never cried at a footie match.
Foxhateram Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 Whats wrong with you all, tarts. I thought us City fans were well 'ard. (I balled my eyes out on tuesday) :pinch: i have to admit tuesday i was literally gutted, i seriously thought we were the better side and deserved to win it and it looked like we might have done, i just had to cry after that, the players put in so much effort and the crowd were behind them all the way it was deffinatly the best atmosphered match iv been to in a while! well done to the players and unlucky, play like that in the championship and wel kick arse!!!
newportfox Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 That would be my choice too. Rollercoaster doesn't come close to describing it. An unbelieveable defeat, even harder to take after losing the previous year as well. hi just recently joined but been a fox as long as i can remember remember the pain i felt that afternoon when the ref blew up for the pen it was haertbraking
filbertboy Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Id say swindon ....cried at 3-3 then at 3-4 watched the goals on central sports next day and cried again.

He's not bald Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Blackburn and Swindon play off finals. Beating Brighton at home to confirm promotion put a tear in my eye too Nope..when we beat Oxford 1-0 (Tony James) to ensure 2nd Division football
SydneyFC Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 When we went down in 2002. That made me so sad:( That was a sad, sad day.
MONreborn Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 That was a sad, sad day. That was my first season as a season ticket holder, althought I was just a kid and did cry against United when we were officially down I still loved it when the kop started "stand up if you love leicester" and ALL of the stadium eventually stood up even the posh gits in the Carling stand. Even the directors it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
London_Fox Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 That Man Utd game was incredible...one of the best moments i've ever had at a football match. I remember the Utd fans were singing "10 minutes and you're going down" or something like that and reducing it every minute and the entire stadium drowned them out. I think losing playoff finals is the hardest thing to take, more then a cup final, because it just changes everything for the following season.
