Matt Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 TWAT! Hate the man, and i'm glad him and his player should and hopefully will be getting some bad press for once. Didn't watch the whole West Ham v Arsenal match but watched bits, in the last 10 mins West Ham scored the winner, Pardew celebrated and Wenger obviously didn't like it and said something, So Pardew questioned it and Wenger pushed him away - started a bit of a scuffle, Full Time came Pardew put his hand out to shake hands and Wenger ignored him causing another scuffle, then the Arsenal players started on the Ref/West Ham player.

Might have something to do with the nailed on penalty denied to Arsenal.
Matt Posted 5 November 2006 Author Posted 5 November 2006 Might have something to do with the nailed on penalty denied to Arsenal. Like we do most weeks?! TBF I didn't see it so can't say too much, but penalty decisions get waved away it happens, Arsene willy puller is old enough and experienced enough to understand that its annoying anf fustrating but its not just Arsenal it happens to! Jamie Redknapp said it wasn't a penalty because the West Ham player did get abit of the ball, as I said I ain't seen it so can't really comment too much.
Durnerz Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 Wether its a penalty or not they've dived enough times to win them so what goes around comes around, Wenger showing what a sore loser he is and how disrespectful he is by not shaking Pardews hand when Pardew did nothing wrong, O'neill used to jump around like a madman when we knocked one in but always got a handshake after, Pardew did nothing provocative, Wenger just can't take it. Mardy arse.
Milky Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 a question for anyone whose seen these men in action. were shankly, paisley and clough bad losers? just that the three men mentioned in this thread are all up there in status as class managers. do you have to be a bad loser in order to be a winner?
lcfc_jme Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 No need for his reaction at all (Wenger's). Pardew had every right to celebrate his piss-poor teams goal as it was virtually certain to give them all 3 points against one of the fancied teams. If Wenger can't accept it then he should find a different game to be involved in, as managers generally tend to be happy when their team scores and wins. Sore loser and something should be done about it. (was funny though )
Phube Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 And Mourinio shook Martin Jol's hand and hugged him after their loss at Spurs!! Wenger = Moaning, whingy Twat!!
lcfc_jme Posted 5 November 2006 Posted 5 November 2006 And Mourinio shook Martin Jol's hand and hugged him after their loss at Spurs!! Wenger = Moaning, whingy Twat!! Mourinho is a right character and makes me laugh in a lot of the interviews he does, but he is another who could be described as a "Moaning, whingy Twat", 'cos when things don't go the way he wants them to, it's always the fault of somebody other than his players or him. Still, he displayed good sportsmanship at the end, and maybe Arse can learn something from "The Great One"
C-man Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 Might have something to do with the nailed on penalty denied to Arsenal. Was a definite penalty yes, but on the 'Last Word', Andy Gray proved that the referee could see nothing, as about 4 or 5 players were in his way, so he couldn't be sure. This is when referees need help from their linesman, i'm sure he could/should have seen it! Arsene Wenger's always been a moaner, i dislike the guy. Having said that, i would have loved for him to be England manager, simply because he is a great manager.

I think it just shows the pressure the top managers are under - he knew defeat mean't the title race was all but up even at this early stage - and it will be him answering to the board this morning! No excuse though for acting like that!
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 Pardews a nob, always has been always will be. His celebrations were over the top, he raised his fist right at Arsene Wenger, he then went bounding over to him like Rambo with his arms raised when Wenger told him to pack it in. No excuse for not shaking his hand though.
Guest Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 Wenger, like Ferguson and countless others, is an ungracious hypocrite. If that had been his team scoring, it would have been justified to go OTT no doubt. It wasn't, get over it, yah boo sucks.
The People's Hero Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 They are all a bunch of graceless wan kers and Pardew is no different.
Joe. Posted 8 November 2006 Posted 8 November 2006 Who would win in a fight then- Pardew or Wenger? My money's on Pardew...
