The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 I'm not single and I just don't get them. Am I a loser?
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 I'm not single and I just don't get them. Am I a loser? No. They're loud, annoying and expensive. Am I getting old?
Dr The Singh Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 I'm not single and I just don't get them. Am I a loser? Yes!! I don't get them either....oops that means i'm a loser aswell!!!
The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 Last time I went to one in Maidstone, I paid £8 to get in. £4 for a bottle of beer. The music was shit. Then I got chucked out with one of my mates because apparently he was being a tosser.
holly Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 just get there and dance ur arse off!! hmmm well thats what i do
davieG Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 I've never tried playing golf in the dark, I lose my balls in the daytime, I wouldn't want them to go missing at night.

The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 A few times ago, I went out in Maidstone. Actually, it was my mate's stag do come to think of it. Anyway THREE times in the night, this fit girl came up to me in a zip up PVC nurse's uniform and unzipped it all the way down to stand there in front of me in her bra n knickers! THREE times she did this and THREE times her mates came and pulled her away. It was still a shit night though. Amusingly though, that night I was on the stage dancing with a mate of mine. We were pissed out of our skull. There were a few announcements which we ignored/couldn't hear. Anyway, next thing we knew the JACKS CREW were all on the stage. Apparently in Jumping Jacks they employ losers to just dance on the stage in uniform and sing and stuff. We were supposed to have cleared the stage. Anyway, we stumbled around the stage thinking we looked great, assuming the shouts and screams were those of adulation and not ridicule. About 3 songs in to our 'set' some bouncers came on the stage and removed us. Overreaction I'd say. They took us in to a small, poorly lit room and said they'd been watching us all night, we'd had too much to drink, as usual they said, we were KNOWN TROUBLEMAKERS. I'd never been there before! Just when I thought we were due for a kicking and being thrown out, we were pushed back in to the nightclub. This might be at the root of my dislike for nightclubs because to be fair, I was pretty scared!

Load crap music, over priced beer, bouncers, not being able to have a conversation but most of all because I dance like an ironing board.
Deathside Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 In an attempt to comprehend nightclubs I did once go to Crystals I left after about 20 mins
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Nightclubs would be alright if they weren't so expensive.
The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 The past has been bottled and labelled with love. What a hangover alleviating tune. UPDATE. Secretary just gone out with instructions to search for cherry drops n sherbert lemons. Who could fail to feel better?
Durnerz Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 I only tend to stick to the ones that I know where all my mates are and that we can have a laugh in, but I perfer bars, can have a chat, not too expensive, you can actually move around and reach the toilet with no great effort (depending on drink consumed of course) plus get served quicker.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Nightclubs would be alright if they weren't so expensive. It's necessarily the cost, I have a fake NUS card and have gone to student nights.......it's the extra loud music and the drunken tits that walk around that do my head in!!!
Janx Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 Waste of time and money, give me a pub where you can sit and chat with mates or cruise the honeyz!! Oh and you can hear what each other are saying without bellowing at each other... and thats got feck all to do with age, its about having a laugh...
The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 Hangover evasion tablets would sell for a fortune. Between us surely we can come up with the formula. I reckon banana peel extract must be in there somewhere.

Nightclubs are normally for when your too pissed to carry on talking.
The People's Hero Posted 1 December 2006 Author Posted 1 December 2006 I want the positive effects. Just not the negative after effects.
Daggers Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 ...the drunken tits Haven't the russians made, a drug which 'numbs' the effect of alcohol?????? There have been alcohol inhibitors in common use for at least a decade, to my knowledge, normally in the treatment of addiction problems. I figure that if you want to have the effects inhibited you should stick to Kaliber.

Lord Nibblington Posted 1 December 2006 Posted 1 December 2006 But Coke tastes shit and sweet without a quart of rum and a squeeze of lime in it Actually, the coke you get out of those taps in pubs and clubs just generally tastes shit, no matter what you put in it.
