City vs cardiff ticket prices

Recommended Posts

buy a kids ticket for £1 and say its for someone else then try your luck at the turnstile and the guys on the gate really couldnt give a crap even if your 40 im sure

if not then try the next one along and someone will let you in.. my bet is the 1st attempt you will get in

its a quid for kids which will entice some people to come along with at least one child if not two. if a parent takes two of their kids along thats 24quid the club wouldn't have had if it had been more expensive.

Apaarently i'm taking my little cousin with me to this becuase it's only a quid.

This is outrageous pricing. 95% of children have to go with parents so this game is not in any way cheaper than others.

Of course it is, its not jsut under 16's that take advatngae of the offer :P

And if someone usually takes their kid, then they get the discount.

for the parents it is. i doubt the children would be paying to go on their own normally. an adult ticket at normal price plus a pound ticket is much cheaper than a full price adult ticket and a full price child ticket

But the thing is that 16 and 17 year olds are full price. £1 is for UNDER 16s. I'm 16 which makes me more mad.

they have to cut the age limit at some point. and quite a few people work from 16 so you'd assume a certain proportion could pay for their own tickets, whereas 15 couldnt. if your 16 you can probably pretend to be 15 if you wanted to, not much of a difference

when i bought my derby away tickets the convo went something like this:

john "hi 1 childs ticket for derby please"

ticket office "ok can i have your season ticket details please"

john"yeah its blablablabla"

Ticket office " erm you have to pay full, the ticket is for you isnt it?"

john " no its for my 15 year old friend"

ticket office " hmmm oh alright then, £10 please"

john "hands over £10"

ticket office " have fun at the game"

john "i will"

she knew i was over 16 but didnt give/ couldnt do anything... :D
