dog_4 Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 6 goals now for the big aussie kisnorbo, class defender and a goalscorer. He's heading up the goal scoring charts big time , hopefully he gets at least 4 more to get into double figures which is fantastic for a defender
Bert Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Yep. Both of his cup goals were more or less, identical. Kisnoooooorbo, oh-wooo-oooaahh.
Joe. Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Wouldnt surprise me at all if he reached the magic 10 this season.

He's heading up the goal scoring charts big time , hopefully he gets at least 4 more to get into double figures which is fantastic for a defender Even if he only gets two more - 8 goals for a defender is awesome. As long as he keeps playing well for us, winning the headers and either helping to set up goals or score himself from set-pieces, I'll be very pleased with him. Quality player for us so far this season
Mort Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Currently Beating Dublin (he's thwacked in 5 for Norwich ).
Cobbo Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Currently Beating Dublin (he's thwacked in 5 for Norwich ). 2 vs the mighty Tamworth.
Mort Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 2 vs the mighty Tamworth. More than Earnshaw... but its a fair point I've just been surprised how he's done ok for them... good utility man i guess, still he's got zero pace but he still seems sharp at times.
Flynny Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I thought we got rid of Dublin more due to him wanting biggish (on Leicester's money, anyway) wages rather than any lack of ability of physical presence.
Collymore Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I loved his goal tonight. The slow mo was awsome on MOTD
Thracian Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Fancy Kisnorbo having scored three times as many goals as our main striker!
Cobbo Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Fancy Kisnorbo having scored three times as many goals as our main striker! Are you honestly suggesting that we swap Kisnorbo and Fryatt's positions, Thracian?
filbertway Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Are you honestly suggesting that we swap Kisnorbo and Fryatt's positions, Thracian? I'll answer for him, no.
Cobbo Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I'll answer for him, no. Are you suggesting that I was being serious, filbertway?
filbertway Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Are you suggesting that I was being serious, filbertway? I am indeed
lildave3 Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Is he the highest scoring defender on the league?
stez Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I thought we got rid of Dublin more due to him wanting biggish (on Leicester's money, anyway) wages rather than any lack of ability of physical presence. i heard it was because he was annoyed with leviens tactics (or lack thereof) and by the time kelly came in the move to celtic was to far along to stop. big up kissa though, he used to be shite, now he's dynamite!
Yaxx Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 It's brilliant to see how much Kisnorbo has improved since moving into his prefered position from midfield. Just shows you what a tosser Levein really was.
Thracian Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Are you honestly suggesting that we swap Kisnorbo and Fryatt's positions, Thracian? I do seem to recall Walshie going up front and proving a real handful. But no. I might think of changing the centre-forward though.
Flynny Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I do seem to recall Walshie going up front and proving a real handful. But no. I might think of changing the centre-forward though. I hear one of the physios used to be a striker, why not give him a go? Then if we have to I suppose we could try a couple of younger players... maybe.
Geo V Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 He`s a modern day Stevie Walsh! To think Levein signed him as a centre-mid who arrived injured! I hope he isnt transferred to Newcastle during the window though as reported
Wils Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Hes wasted at the back,we need his ability higher up the pitch lets get him back in centre mid.
Graz Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 How many did Matty Elliott and Stevie Walsh ever get in their highest goalscoring seasons? Wonder if Kisnorbo can beat them? Would be impressive since they used to go up front at times. Makes me wonder though... why is it when we need a goal at the end we throw McCauley up there, and not Kisnorbo?

Answering my own question, Elliott's best tally was 7, but Stevie Walsh got 15 in the 92/93 season! (I think both only refer to the league). So Kisnorbo should beat Elliott, but I doubt he'll beat Walshies! On the subject of Dublin, he's playing up front for Norwich I think, at least he did yesterday. Off topic, but something I found when looking for Matty Elliott... did you know he's a blood relative of Paul Brooker? I never heard that before. Anyone know how?
Webbo Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 i heard it was because he was annoyed with leviens tactics (or lack thereof) and by the time kelly came in the move to celtic was to far along to stop. big up kissa though, he used to be shite, now he's dynamite! if i remember right they had to let him go to free up some money to pay levein off. no great loss though.
