Zingari Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 that sarcozy meeting the royal family voice over was brilliant and frankie boyle " there is a vegetarian option , you can fook off " MTW just gets better
Simi Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 "We do have a vegetarian option" "You can **** off" Russel Howard fast becoming my favourite. Although Boyle said the above, Howard's rant on Newspapers was hilarious.
The Stig Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 "We do have a vegetarian option""You can **** off" Russel Howard fast becoming my favourite. Although Boyle said the above, Howard's rant on Newspapers was hilarious. Completly agree. Very underated in my opinion. Young as well so will hopefully be around for a long time to come. Great episode this week. One question however, in the scene's we'd like to see round, why does Dara have to press the buzzer after each sentance? I don't see the point in it.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 that sarcozy meeting the royal family voice over was brilliant I can't think of many better impressions than Hugh Dennis doing Prince Philip Russel Howard fast becoming my favourite. Howard is brilliant live on stage
The Stig Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I can't think of many better impressions than Hugh Dennis doing Prince Philip His Prince Charles is good as well. Remember last series Oh my, what a magnificent pair of knawkes!
billyfox1 Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 that sarcozy meeting the royal family voice over was brilliant Love the voice over sketches my favourite is when the queen meets the Arsenal team. Russel Howard fast becoming my favourite. Although Boyle said the above, Howard's rant on Newspapers was hilarious. I'm still laughing now
The Stig Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Love the voice over sketchesmy favourite is when the queen meets the Arsenal team. This is our most good looking player Freddie, he's never married.
Corky Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 That was a quality episode. Hugh Dennis' voiceover was superb, Russell Howard's newspaper rant and both the "What we'd like to hear" were great as well. I would stick with those six comedians most weeks.
Simi Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 The best line up, for me would be... Boyle, Dennis and David Mitchell. Then.. Howard, Byrne and Rory Bremner.
Corky Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 The best line up, for me would be...Boyle, Dennis and David Mitchell. Then.. Howard, Byrne and Rory Bremner. That's not a bad idea, but I like Stephen K Amos (who I thought did alright tonight), so I'd have him in quite regularly. Andy Parsons was better tonight, but he's not as good as the others.

I'd agree with that, but if I could pick from anyone I'd put Rob Brydon in the place of Bremner. He was great on Would I Lie To You last week and I'd love to see him on MTW.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Have seen the guests for WILTY tommorow and it might be okay again. Trisha ( ), Ben Sheppard ( ), Rich Hall ( ), and Frankie Boyle ( ). Hopefully Hall and Boyle will make it half decent, still don't understand the point in putting unfunny people in it though, probably to get a bigger audience, I suppose. Michael McIntyre is on 8 Out Of 10 Cats tommorow night so that'll be worth a watch as well.

Usually what happens when theres only one woman. With the exception of Jo Brand but should she be classed as a woman?

Anyway as well as Michael McIntyre, David Baddiel, Chris Moyles and June Sparong (who?) are on it.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 MTW was pretty good last night. Boyle and Howard were on top form.

Looking back at those threads this morning I realise what a funny night it was. Boyle-"Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Well what ever it is it's heading for the World Trade Center."
Corky Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Didn't think much of that woman, whoever she is. Contributed next to nothing.

Corky Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 I don't think she's ever been on it before. Or that Greg Davies bloke. I've never seen him before.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Or that Greg Davies bloke. I've never seen him before. I've seen him in other stuff though. He was in the Inbetweeners if you ever wtahced that. He was alright I thought.

He was alright, an improvement on Gina Yashere (who I hope we don't see for the rest of the series). Do you know who is on next week?
