Racism is rife everywhere and unless parents start educating there kids to start respecting people and not the colour of there skin, it will get worse. The problem is that despite large parts of England being multi-cultural, there are still large elements of the country who dont mix with different races. London is hilarious. Everyone says that there is a mix of everything but at times it couldnt be further from the truth. Examples are Haringey is full of Turks and Kurds, Tottenham and Brixton black people, Tooting, Wembley Asian people, etc etc. Some of these people just exist and never talk to one another!!! My people (Greek-Cypriot) usually mix with anyone but still its seen as a terrible thing to marry a non-Greek girl. Poke as many girls as you want but marry Greekis the message to the lads in our community and girls are almost disowned if they mix with a non-Greek guy. Almost cast aside. Its similar in the Asian community too which in itself is a form of racism (people are good enough to talk too but dont go out with them as they are a different race!!). The best thing is for all us foreigners to go back "home" and for all those ex-pat Brits to return. Great post Just one exception. Children aren't born racist. Therefore shouldn't it be the parents we have to educate?

The problem is some parents are so fixed into the old ways and old days that it is almost impost impossible to change there views. Education and tolerance at school level is whats needed but there is so much hatred these days that similarly to the MM takeover, Im beginning to think it will never happen!

What I am saying is that wasting energies on certain people is a waste. the thick buggers like Jade Goodys family and her boyfriend are perfect examples of dumbness who you just couldnt talk round. BTW about you saying that black and white kids play together, of course they do!!! My group of mates has practically every nationality in it( a little older than infants but they act it)! There are plenty of plutonic and romantic inter-race relationships which are great. Many educated people wouldnt condone racism at all so I think its important to mention that millions of people, whether white, black or whatever get on with there lives and mix/intergrate with one another. My problem is with Englands scum.
