Stuliasz Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 We ALWAYS lose at Portman Road. We got battered 6-1 there the season we went up if I remember rightly!
potter3 Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Hume is struggling in his natural position, why would he be able to play in the centre of midfield?? Isn't his natural position more attacking midfield? Anyway I don't thnk I want to know the score of this one, even under our 'revival' last year we still lost 2-0 <_<
potter3 Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 We ALWAYS lose at Portman Road. We got battered 6-1 there the season we went up if I remember rightly! Yeah, they were the only team to do the double over us that season.
filbertway Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 2-1 Ipswich Everyone will say AJ played amazing. (when in reality he made one pass and chased people a few times) Hume will have squandered about 5 chances. Cada will have got the loudest cheer when he came on for a 30 second cameo. And McAuley would have scored our consolation. Horse and porter contenders for MOTM though, both playign well and being unlucky.
potter3 Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 I think you might find McCauley is out injured. Err do you mean McCarthy? Apparently McAuley had a calf knock but was alright to play.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 McCarthy is definitely out. McCauley doesn't exist. MaAuley took a knock and was supposed to be fixed in time. Dread to think what the back four will be without McAuley. Maybury Kenton Kisnorbo Nissa.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Last season we managed to do Millwall in at their gaff for the first time since about 1885, so why can't we do the same at Portman Road this year? After all, it's only been since 1988 at Ipswich.
Lineker's Dodgy Toe Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Kelly, referring to the much-delayed takeover, said: "That will all be down to circumstances, but I think if there are to be more coming in then we would all welcome it. "We are back where we started in terms of numbers and we have been stretched for a long time now, so for me the loan signings have given us options. If we get more then those options would increase. "I am not being disrespectful to the players who are already here and, in fact, I think they would welcome fresh faces too, because it would increase the competition as well as being able to give them a break. He is kidding right??
MBK Posted 10 February 2007 Author Share Posted 10 February 2007 Have to admit Kenton impresses me. Can't imagine AJ in his situation without every tabloid hearing tantrums every month.
hebangsthedrums Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 He is kidding right?? Don't forget after all the redoubled efforts in training the players have probably gone from a 25 hour week to a 187 hour week.

lookwhaticando Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Whatever the line up, there'll be at least two players in the 11 we can all bitch and complain about before they've even kicked the ball. I envisage Andy Johnson being one of them...

lookwhaticando Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 i wasnt even alive when we lost won at portman road I assume you meant last won. Anyways... 1997? We beat them in the cup in '97 I think... You were surely alive for that. But in the league, it was '88. You obviously weren't born by then. Lineker's Left Foot Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Come the fook on City. I wont be able to show my face for a while if we lose today. Our luck has to change some time, surely? Luck, we've deserved the points we've got; possibly, apart from the Colchester game. The only people against us have been the officials, but we've been that bad!! Stinkenzo Posted 10 February 2007 Share Posted 10 February 2007 Hereford. Or in the league Leeds in 2004. Wouldn't it be great if we could win like that in the League, instead of Hereford in the cup Best I can remember is 3-0 at Man City..
