Sparky Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Helping our ressies out tonight, away at Niffy A
Mikey Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Got our first league game for Ibstock tonight. Playing Holwell, who are favourites for the league, and supposedly get paid to play. Won 3-2, great performance. They've won the league 4 years in a row, and haven't been beaten at home for 2 and a half years so it's a great result for us.
C-man Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Our game was called off because Desford couldn't get a team out. The league are thinking it over.... Mangna Town 2008 on Sunday. Should be a decent game.
C-man Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Sparta Parva 4-3 Magna Town 2008 Decent game and nice way to start the season. Nicked it with a couple of minutes to go.
David Guiza Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Beat Hat and Bever 3-2 after conceeding 2 stupid goals so a good comeback and win.
Mikey Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Made my competitive debut for Aths in that 3-1 win.
Cobbo Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Depleted Fosse City side ran out 4-0 winners away at St Pats.
Narborough_fox Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Won 5-0, 2 wins out of 2 after coming back from 3-1 down at half-time on Wednesday. Top of the league and not conceded for 2 hours of football

Simo86 Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Lost to Loughborough Saints 3-2, conceding in the last minute I didn't play due to a hamstring injury but we definitely deserved a point on our premier league debut
lildave3 Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 4th game as referee this season and I get my first abusive manager... fantastic You've done quite well to reach the 4th game tbf!

Manwell Pablo Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Beat Hugglescote 9-0 Any one playing them this season expect a rough morning.
lildave3 Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Ashby Lamb (what a shit new name btw) for promotion.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Ashby Lamb (what a shit new name btw) for promotion. Ben, whilst I hold reservations, our name could actually have been worse, the landlord wanted, "The Lamb Inn Ashby FC" We will see, big game Sunday, Ashby Rovers Reserves.
Simo86 Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 We play Whitwick Compass on sunday! This will be the first competitive Whitwick derby, so it should be a fiercely fought match. Last time we played them we won 6-2 so hopefully a repeat is on the cards! Heres hoping the underdogs prevail
Mikey Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 2nd game tonight for Ibstock after our good result last week, Stapenhill away.
Narborough_fox Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Got a cup game tonight against Lutterworth, hope we can go 3-0 this season.
samjohnson Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Do you ref adult games or Children games? t'was a youth league game. (u-16) - I do anything between u13-u18 at the moment Today was an U14 League cup match... Rather one sided at 6-1... but was a good game
C-man Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Sparta Parva 6 AFC Bees Knees 3 Gifted them a two goal lead but turned it round quite well. Looking unrecognizable from last year's debacle but we'll have to do better at the back against the top teams in our division.
