Henderson 7 Made a few good stops.

Maybury 7 Solid enough.

Johansson 7 Again, solid at the back, useless going forward.

Kisnorbo 10 MOTM and absolutely rock-like. The amount of headers and challenges he won was fantastic.

McAuley 8 Dealt with almost everything that lump Adebola threw at him.

Yeates 5 Disappointing and weak in the 50/50s.

Porter 5 Didn't have a good game today and again, I know his size doesn't help, was weak and lost the ball far too much.

Johnson 9 Brilliant performance. Must have put in 20 plus tackles and gave everything.

Jarrett 7 Didn't have great control but a fantastic battling performance and gave 100% start to finish.

Hume 7 Had a much better game today, looking near his best again.

Horsfield 9 Another ex-Baggie with an outstanding performance, particularly in the first half.

Henderson - 8 - Did well, didn't concede, didn't flap, looked solid. When shots snuck wide he had them covered every time. I don't reckon he's much better than Logan but while he's playing well there's no reason to change anything.

Maybury - 8 - Played at his best, supported Yeates well, overlapped, made runs into the centre, and defended well when he needed to.

Johansson - 8.5 Pretty much the same as Maybury, but better.

Kisnorbo - 8 - Excellent as ever. His diving block almost certainly saved us a goal.

McAuley - 8 - Cool, calm, strong, and solid. Superb. My dad went to the game for the first time in about a year today (He used to be there quite a bit years back) and said it was like watching Walsh.

Yeates - 7.5 - Played well, but kept the ball too long under pressure. Made the odd bad cross.

Porter - 8 - He was everywhere. Constantly busy, did well when he chipped in in defence, attacked well.

Johnson - 7.5 - What was he on? The odd misplaced pass still, but the fact that he actually tries makes him more likable than Williams even if he doesn't have the skill. Hopefully he'll have more games like this and less like last week.

Jarrett - 7 - I thought he played well and had an unlucky game. He was busy, but had two air-shots that should have been goals, and kept tripping.

Hume - 8 - Some good shots, good dribbling, good running. Unlucky not to score.

Horsfield - 9 - 2 goals, ran into channels, good physical presence. Good for him to get goals this week or we'd be starting to question him.

fook the subs.

Henderson - 8 - If only he could kick a ball

Maybury - 8 - Best rb at the club. Kept it simple, good calming influence, even did a few overlapping runs

Kisnorbo - 7 - Not as dominant in the air as usual. Good positioning sense though

McAuley - 8 - Quality

Johansson - 8 - Solid.

Yeates - 7 - Has got good skill and can deliver a decent ball. Needs to do it more often and pass it simple sometimes

Johnson - 9 - Stormer.

Jarrett - 7 - Good energy and good runs beyond the strikers. Questionable technique though

Porter - 6 - Felt it didnt really happen for him today, though good chip for The Horse to score

Hume - 8 - Good linkup with Horsfield. Nice touches and looked very dangerous

Horsfield - 9 - Quality hold up play in first half, brought others into game well and 2 goals caps a great performance

A good game by all those who took part but only two players really stood out. Johnson had his best game for the club (9) and Henderson was outstanding today in the second half (10). He alone made the defence look good...great second half saves..kept us in the game..could easily of been 3-3 without him.

Hendo- 9 Two world class saves, without which Cov would have got back into the match.

Maybes- 7 Solid at the back, but his aimless long balls are really starting to p!ss me off!

Kisnorbo- 8 Commanding display. I'l forget the obvious handball the ref didn't see.

McAuley- 8.5 Some really great last minute tackles.

Skills- 8 So, so underrated. His contribution is immense. I really, really hope we can hold into him next season.

Yeates- 7.5 I think people are being unduly harsh on him. His little flick to play in Maybury in the first half was sublime and he linked up the play really well, dropping in deep when needed. He has the skills but he needs to know when to use them and when not to- at least he was trying. Yes his heading and tackling aren't great but I think he has excellent potential.

Jarrett- 7 I must have counted half a dozen forward runs in the first half, none of which were untilised- I guess the players just aren't used to midfielder runs from deep! Which is why having King in there would make no difference at the moment. Gave up on the runs by the second half, and dropped a bit two deep.

Johno- 7 Excellent first half hour but faded after that point. Well taken goal though- must have had a nosebleed being that far forward! Battled well and put in some excellent tackles in. Thought he slowed the play a bit too much in the second half and wasted far too many passes.

Porter- 7.5 Fantastic awareness and some really good deliveries into the box. Seems to have regained the confidence to take on players now. The only problem I have with him is that he needs to learn to deal with his height a bit better. By that I mean when a cross-field ball is played to him he needs to try and take it in the air, when he lets it bounce up at him it tends to take too many touches for him to get it under control (often chest, head, foot in that order). Either that or it bounces over his head!

The Horse- 9 What more can you ask? Excellent hold up play and two goals. Deserves man of the match.

Hume- 7 Didn't really come off for him today, but he never stopped trying and linked up play really well for the most part.

Stearman- 6

Cadder's- 6

Both should have been on at least 10 minutes earlier.

Henderson 8 - Solid between the sticks, looked determined not to concede and made some good saves.

Maybury 7.5 - Impressed me to be honest, solid at the back and decent going forward, some good link up play with Yeates in the 1st half

Johansson 7 - Actually underwhelmed me. Committed and solid enough performance but the weakest man at the back

Kisnorbo 8 - Energetic, commanding and resolute at the back

McAuley 8.1 - Excellent, brick-wall like display, just edges it over Kissy for me. Shame he couldn't get on the scoresheet :P

Yeates 7.5 - Definately a driving force in the first half, waned in the second but then so did everyone else. Impressed me in the first half. Everytime I've seen Leicester play this season I've thought "We need a winger (and a target man, see The Horse)" and now we've got one.

Porter 7 - Worked hard, good little cross for his assist, but otherwise I got the feeling I've always got in the few games I've seen; he's quite limited. Iconic moment where Yeates sprayed the ball for a switch. Any other player on the pitch would have brought it down, but poor old Levi couldn't reach it and it bounced off his head lol The woman behind me commented "Aaah, he's only 'ickle" lol

Johnson 7.5 - Wasn't as impressed as some people are, thought he was a bit sloppy but he breaks up the play well. I'd just tell him to spend as little time on the ball as possible.

Jarrett 6 - Our worst player, not an awful performance, but saw a lot of the ball without knowing quite what to do with it

Hume 7 - Worked hard, shudda had a goal and definately needs one. May work better behind the strikers.

Horsfield 8.1 - Like Yeates, we needed a player like this and he did his job well. Well taken goals, deserved. Joint man of the match with McCauley.

Kelly 7 Can't argue with his tactics but showed limitations- lack of ingenuinity and unwillingness to be a bit different. Can't fault him but I wouldn't rush to praise him either. I now see why most of you would like another manager to come in, we need someone with a bit more ability if we're gonna push for promotion.

Overall performance 7.5 - Shudda done better in the 2nd half but they earned their keep in the first, they were excellent.

The cynic inside me links the improving form of Johnson to the arrival of Mandaric.

Let us not forget, his contract expires in June unless we see fit to offer him a new one. And now we have money to play with, do we want to retain an otherwise ineffectual long-haired gimp in the middle?

Welcome Johnson, about time you showed up for work. :D

Shame you couldn't be arsed all those months ago.

Henderson 8 (It didn't always look pretty but he got something in the way at several important moments).

Maybury 8 (Looks re-invigourated. solid, determined, efficient. I like him as a right back as much as I dislike him on the left)

McAuley 8 (I liked the way he never went ball-watching as Coventry attacked. He constantly checked the moving of players behind and around him while taking up his own positions. Apart from his speed he's an accomplished player and far better at centre-back than right back.

Kisnorbo 8 (Another defensive clean sheet as skipper. I refuse to believe it's all luck after how readily we leaked. The defence is again benefitting from constancy and the understanding that comes with it.)

Nils 7.75 (Again did well. He and Porter seem to have a good understanding and Nils just seemed to choose his moments well while under quite a lot of pressure at time. Porter's presence makes it harder for the opposition to exploit his lack of speed on the turn).

Yeates 6.75 (Positive. Tried things. They didn't always come off. But that's the way it goes for forwards sometimes. It's when you stop asking the questions you're no use to anyone. Provided width and movement which helped others too)

Johnson 7 (Best single half I've seen him play. Gradually dropped off after his goal and was simply incapable of the same driving eneergy second half. Too many wasted passes. Quick and simple was what was needed).

Jarrett 6 (Nothing of great consequence. I still felt our midfield was the weak line - both fitness wise and in regards to maintaining the team's rhythm. How I've love to have seen King come off the bench last 25 minutes.

Hume 8.5 (Terrific game. at least 4/5 close to goalworthy shots and worked brilliantly with his team-mates. Very impressed).

Horsfield 9 (Two goals is job done for a striker but he's such a benefit to those around him. Just what Porter wanted, for sure...someone to aim those deft flighted crosses at. Good team player)

Porter 9 (Two more assists.Might have had four or five assists with any sort of ruthless finishing by his colleagues. Effect is the guy's middle name and I thought it amusing when Nils gave him a rollicking for leaving him a bit stranded on one occasion. It was back on the edge of the penalty box, for Heaven sake - but Nils still relied on his playing partner to be around - a good sign. But overall they linked great together and Porter, while making mistakes, still asked too many questions for coventry to cope with).

Sub: Stearman 6 (okay. One good chance. Nice to see him get some action)

Kelly 9 (Positive then professional performance. I thought tired legs were allowing our tempo to drop but there's always risk in changing a side that's winning so well so his choices were understandable and defensible. I might even have wanted to see more of Cadamarteri. The hat-trick man looked fit and well pre-match and really needs to be involved. Perhaps a minor point though but if RK's not careful, when the time comes, he's another striker who will have lost his edge).

MOM: Horsfield/Porter.

Special award: Standupandsing + pals.

Now lets be honest, he didn't have a bad game did he. Good cross for Horsfields goal and all but really 9/10? his first touch was about 4 yards in front of him on a number of occasions, he gave the ball away on a number of occasions, he got bullied off the ball on a number of occasions. To be honest if it were not for the assits he'd be the worst player on the park IMO.

I can accept peoples opinions differing from mine but 9/10? You do yourself no favours.

I did wonder if I'd been a mite generous to be honest - it was good to feel good - but I tend to judge people principally on effect.

Clean sheets, defenders get praise, two leaked, there are always reasons.

For me Porter had directly made the breakthrough goal, had a hand in another and layed on two more absolutely gilt edged chances which should have produced two more goals.

Yes, his control was below his best today but when it showed a bit near the end I think he was simply knackered. He did cover some big part of that park.

As I say about forwards. It's not what they don't do, but what they do do.

But I also think so much of Porter's other work is underestimated. His availablity for and backing up of team-mates is excellent.

Anyway, that's the explanation.

And out of due consideration to the comments I've reduced Levi to an 8.5 cos I'm feeling very happy and accommodating.

3-0 against Cov? It can affect the judgement!

Porter looked way more confident today, roamed a bit, switched flanks, took the corners. He looked like he belonged in the first team, he orchastrated things at times, was constantly talking.

Before he's just stuck to running up and down his line with his head down like any youngster plonked into the side, but he really looks an integral part of the first team now.

9 is too much though. :P
